Chapter 41 - Selena's Surprise

Selena lay in bed with hangover and not wanting to get out of bed, her dreams of a lie-in seemed impossible when Ziggy walked in with Charlee "babe wake up" Selena groaned "I don't want too" Ziggy smirked "come on" Selena kicked the duvet off and climbed out of bed "morning sleeping beauty" Selena glared "hush" Ziggy winked and handed Charlee to Selena "where's Daisy?" Ziggy grinned "being another sleeping beauty" Selena frowned "right and you had to wake me up first?" Ziggy nodded "mum's having the girls tonight" Selena again frowned "why?" Ziggy smirked "I'm taking you out tonight" Selena smiled "okay, what for?" Ziggy grinned "because I can" Selena nodded.

Ziggy had gone into the garage "alright Zig" Ziggy nodded "what needs to be done?" Joe frowned "er that picasso needs an oil change, that renault needs an M.O.T" Ziggy nodded and got to work. Joe needed to leave so Ziggy was alone "Zig you here" Ziggy was under a car "Lena what you doing here? And where are the girls?" Selena smiled "Maxine is looking after them, and I have a surprise for you" Ziggy rolled from under the car "what surprise?" Selena pushed Ziggy against the car and began kissing him "what was that for?" Selena grinned "because I can" Selena pulled Ziggy into the office and began undressing him.

Selena left the garage as she needed to get back to the girls "thanks Maxine" Maxine smiled "no worries, been nice spending some time with them" Selena smiled "they've missed you" Maxine grinned "I've missed them" Maxine stood to leave when Ziggy walked in "alright Max?" Maxine smiled "hiya, Lena I'll see you soon" Selena nodded and Maxine left. When Maxine left Ziggy turned to Selena "mum's coming for the girls" Selena grinned "so I take it you liked the surprise" Ziggy nodded "thanks for leaving me with the mess" Selena winked "I'll make it up too you tonight" Ziggy grinned.

Sandy arrived at the flat "nana" Daisy ran over to Sandy "up" Sandy puck her up "Arlee naughty" "Charlee's naughty?" Daisy nodded "she bit arm" Sandy frowned "she bit you?" Daisy nodded "it ouch" Selena left the room "hiya Sandy" "Charlee bit her?" Selena nodded "she's teething, she bit me earlier" Sandy nodded "she got a teething ring?" Selena again nodded "yeah, its in her cot" Selena went to get the teething ring "you sure you want them?" Sandy nodded "course" Selena smiled and got the girls ready.

When the girls had gone Selena went to get ready, she had put on her blue dress and curled her hair "you ready?" Selena nodded "be nice if you told me where we're going". Ziggy winked "its a surprise babe" Selena groaned "I hate surprises" Ziggy grinned "you'll love it".

After the meal Ziggy was taking Selena for a walk in the park "why in the park?" Ziggy smiled "the surprise" Selena frowned "I thought the meal was the surprise?" Ziggy shook his head "come on babe".

In the park Selena was freezing "its cold" Ziggy took his jacket off and wrapped it round Selena "so now we're here what's the surprise?" Ziggy looked at Selena and got down on one knee "what are you?" "Lena, you're the only girl for me and we've got two beautiful girls" Selena smiled and Ziggy continued "marry me?" Selena was shocked "you what?" Ziggy smiled "marry me" Selena grinned and nodded so Ziggy got up and kissed her.

They went back to the flat and Ziggy pulled Selena into the bedroom and they celebrated their engagment.

The next day Selena went for a shower "now that's what I like to see" Selena turned and grinned "you would" Ziggy walked into the bathroom and kissed her "surprised you're not tired after last night" Selena grinned "I'm mored tired than you will ever know" Ziggy winked "back to bed babe?" Selena shook her head "nope, I need my girlies" Ziggy laughed "you go back to bed and I'll get them" Selena grinned "I'm feeling rather cheerful" Ziggy winked "oh are" Selena laughed "yeah".

Ziggy and Selena arrived at the house "mum?" Daisy came running out the living room "mama, dada, Arlee ouch" Selena puck her up "Charlee ouch?" Daisy nodded "Arlee bite me" Selena looked at Ziggy "mum?" Sandy came out the kitchen with Charlee "hiya, have a nice night?" Selena nodded "yeah, where's Charlee?" "Asleep" Selena smiled "she bit Daisy again?" Sandy nodded "yeah" Ziggy looked at his mum "she said yes" Sandy grinned "congratulations" Selena turned to Ziggy "your mum knew?" Ziggy nodded "why do you think she had them?" Selena grinned.
