Chapter 42 - Murder In The Village.

Selena's salon had been open for a few days and she had loved it. That day Selena wasn't going into the salon as Charlee wasn't very well so Sandy was taking Daisy into town "right I'm off" Selena came out the bedroom holding Charlee "have fun" Ziggy smirked "always" Ziggy left the flat and Charlee started crying "you missing daddy already?" Charlee looked at Selena and pointed towards the door "yeah you're missing him" Selena lay Charlee on the sofa "mama" Daisy came running to Selena "what's wrong?" Daisy held her arms out "mama up" Selena puck her up "what's wrong?" "Me see scary" Selena frowned "what?" "Scary" Selena walked into the girls room and saw a spider "Daisy its a spider" Daisy nodded "they scary" Selena grinned "we're gonna make him disappear" Daisy frowned and Selena placed Daisy on the bed and fetched the hoover "mama?" "Watch this" Selena turned the hoover on and sucked the spider up "see he's gone" Daisy grinned "yay".

Sandy had just arrived at the flat "alright?" Daisy smiled "Arlee poorly" Sandy smiled "yeah and you're coming with me" Daisy let out a massive grin "yay" Selena had just put Charlee to bed and got Daisy's coat "come here you" Daisy walked over to Selena and she put her coat on "bye mama" Selena smiled "bye".

Ziggy was working in the garage when Lindsey walked in "alright Zig?" Ziggy looked up "alright" Lindsey smiled "have you seen Freddie?"Ziggy frowned "no, why?" Lindsey shrugged "just curious, how are the girls?" "They're good, Charlee's not well" Lindsey smiled "awwh what's wrong with her?" "Flu" Lindsey nodded "if you see Freddie tell him I need him" Ziggy again nodded.

When Lindsey had gone Ziggy continued working on the car when his phone rang, looking he saw it was Selena -

(Phonecall)

Ziggy - Lena everything alright?

Selena - yeah, I'm bored, Charlee's asleep

Ziggy - where's Daisy?

Selena - with your mum

Ziggy - I'll be back soon

Selena - alright loves ya

Ziggy - love ya too

(Phonecall)

Ziggy hung up and finished working on the car.

Selena had just tidied up when Charlee woke up crying so she went to get her, sitting on the sofa the door knocked "Charlee we never get a chance to relax do we?" Charlee smiled and Selena went to answer the door "dad?" Patrick smiled "hello Selena" Selena moved to let Patrick in "where's Daisy?" "She's gone with Sandy, madam over there isn't very well" Patrick walked over to Charlee and puck her up "I have missed you" Charlee smiled.

When Patrick had gone Selena got Charlee changed for bed just as Ziggy walked in with Daisy "wow you left alone and come back with her" Ziggy grinned "I'm magic" Selena rolled her eyes "yeah course you are" Ziggy placed Daisy onto the sofa "mama ick" Selena frowned "you sick?" Daisy nodded "yeah, ouchy" "where?" Daisy pointed to her stomach so Selena handed Charlee to Ziggy and sat with Daisy "you wanna go bed?" Daisy nodded "yeah" Selena put Daisy's onesie on her "bring Charlee?" Ziggy nodded and they put their girls too bed.

*the next day*

Selena and Ziggy woke the next morning and Selena was freezing "I'm freezing""its too early to be awake" Selena grinned "you'll live" Ziggy groaned "I should be in bed" Selena smirked and kissed him just as Charlee decided to wake up crying "I'll get her" Selena nodded and watched as Ziggy got Charlee while she got her bottle sorted.

Selena put the radio on and her favorite song came on so she had to sing along. When the song finished the news came on -

*Last night local business man Fraser Black was found murdered, police are investigating his death and have asked if anyone knows anything then contact them on the number on the website*

Selena looked at Ziggy who was shocked "call your mum" Ziggy handed Charlee to Selena and rang his mum -

(Phonecall)

Sandy - Ziggy, I can't talk right now

Ziggy - have you heard the news?

Sandy - about Fraser? Yeah

Ziggy - are you alright?

Sandy - yeah, look I gotta, the police wanna talk to me

Ziggy - alright mum, see you

(Phonecall)

Selena looked at Ziggy "is everything alright?" Ziggy nodded "yeah" Selena smiled and kissed him "is your mum okay?" Ziggy again nodded.

Selena had gone over to the salon to see how Maxine was "Maxine is everything alright?" Maxine smiled and nodded "yeah, that lady over there wants a hairstyle like yours" Selena grinned "I can do that" Selena walked over to the customer "hiya I believe you want a hairstyle like mine?" The customer nodded "yeah" Selena smiled "I can make that happen".

Selena made the customer's hairstyle like hers "thanks, for this" Selena smiled "no worries, anytime you need it doing again then come too me" "I will thanks" Selena watched as the customer walked out "she seems familar" Maxine frowned "how?" Selena shrugged "I don't know, I've just got the feeling I've seen her before".

Ziggy had just put Charlee to sleep when the door knocked so he went to answer it "mum is everything alright?" Sandy shook her head "Joe's been arrested for Fraser's murder" Ziggy frowned "Joe?" Sandy nodded "yeah" Ziggy moved and let his mum in "where are the girls?" "Daisy's playing and Charlee's asleep" Sandy nodded and Selena walked in "Sandy" "alright love?" Selena nodded "yeah, you don't look okay though" Sandy sighed "Joe's been arrested for murdering Fraser" Selena was confused "Joe wouldn't hurt anyonw though" "I know" Ziggy thought for a moment "he's being set up" Sandy nodded "I know, but who would do something like that?" Ziggy shrugged.

When Sandy left Ziggy and Selena sat on the sofa "there's a murderer in the village" Ziggy sighed "don't think about it babe" Selena looked at him "I can't help it, someone has murdered Fraser and framed Joe and" before Selena could finish Ziggy kissed her "don't think about it" Selena nodded and fell asleep with Ziggy.
