Chapter 65 - Operations And Arrivals.

It was the day of Charlee's operation. Selena and Ziggy were at the Hospital half an hour after they had woken. Daisy had stayed with Sandy.

It was nearing 8am. Selena was sitting with Charlee while Ziggy went to get coffee. When he came back he kissed Selena. "Babe, I've been thinking," Ziggy started.

Selena smiled over at him. "Has my man been doing early morning thinking?" Ziggy grinned and nodded.

"Seriously though babe, as soon as Charlee's better I wanna make you my wife. I know we said we'd wait until the baby had been born but I can't wait much longer," Ziggy said. Selena had tears in her eyes.

"I'd love too," Selena stated. Ziggy walked over to her and passionatley kissed her.

"I love you Lena."

"I love you too."

Sandy, Daisy and the Roscoe boys had come to visit Charlee and Robbie. "How's she holding up?" Joe asked. Selena smiled.

"She's okay I guess. She's been in this place for too long so I wanna get her back home," Selena replied. Daisy came over crying.

"Is Charlee going to the angels mummy?"

Ziggy puck Charlee up. "No she's not. She's staying with us for a very long time munchkin," Ziggy told her. Daisy nodded and rested her head on Ziggy's shoulders.

"Poor thing was up all night crying," Sandy told them. Selena sighed and kissed Daisy's head as she had fallen asleep on Ziggy. "When Charlee's gone in I'll take her back with me and she can have a sleep," Sandy said. Selena smiled and nodded.

The doctors had come in to prepare Charlee for the operation. "Miss Blake, could you hold Charlee's hand for the Anaesthetic?". Selena nodded and she took Charlee's hand.

"Its gonna be okay baby girl. I'll be here waiting for you. I promise," Selena whispered. Charlee fell asleep and she was taken down to the operating theatre. Ziggy came over and held Selena as she cried.

"She'll be fine babe. I promise," Ziggy said. Selena cried into Ziggy as the Roscoe's and Daisy left. "After this we'll have our baby girl back and then arrival of our little man."

Selena smiled and kissed him. "I love you Ziggy."

"I love you too Lena."

A few hours later, Selena felt a wave of pain in her stomach but put it down to being anxious. Ziggy saw his fiancee in pain. "Babe are you okay?" Ziggy asked. Selena smiled and nodded although she was lying. "Lena, you're not."

Before Selena could speak Charlee came back in. "The operation was a success," the doctor said. Selena felt overjoyed. "It's just a matter of Charlee waking up. We're confident it will be soon."

As soon as the doctor had gone Selena walked over to Charlee. "Hey baby, you've been so brave."

Ziggy smiled but before he could speak, Selena gasped in pain. "Lena?"

"My waters have broke."

Sandy was playing with Daisy when the phone rang. "Its Ziggy."

"Hello?"

"Mum, Lena's gone into labour"

"What? What about Charlee?"

"She's had the operation, she's in recovery. Lena's been taken to delivery"

"I'll get there soon"

"Thanks mum"

Sandy hung up. "Joe!" Sandy called. Joe came running into the living room.

"What?"

Sandy looked at her eldest son. "Lena's gone into labour," Sandy told him. Joe was shocked.

"Is Charlee out of theatre?"

Sandy nodded. "Yeah, listen can you keep an eye on Daisy. I'm gonna be there for Charlee. Its got to be hard for Ziggy having to choose between Lena and Charlee.

Selena was in agony, "go be with Charlee," Selena said. Ziggy was torn.

"Lena, I can't leave you," Ziggy said. Selena smiled.

"Our baby girl needs you," Selena told him. Sandy walked in.

"Lena, I'm gonna sit with Charlee. Ziggy needs to be here," Sandy stated.

The midwife walked in. "Okay Selena, we need you to push now."

Selena groaned but she began pushing out the baby. Around six hours later the room was surrounded with the cries of a baby boy. "We have a baby boy," Ziggy told her. Selena grinned but she felt weak.

"Is he okay?" Selena asked. Ziggy smiled and kissed her.

"He's perfect," Ziggy replied. Selena smiled as their son was brought over to them. "Any names?" Ziggy asked. Selena smiled.

"I like Jayden Alan Roscoe," Selena replied. Ziggy kissed her.

"I love it."

Selena wanted to take Jayden to meet his sister. "Let's take Jayden to meet Charlee," Selena said. Ziggy was mesmerised by his son.

"Alright,"

Sandy was sitting with Charlee when the door opened and Ziggy and Selena came in with their son. "Mum, someone wants to meet you."

Sandy turned and saw her grandson. "Oh he's gorgeous. Well done," Sandy said. Selena smiled.

"Tell her his name."

Ziggy handed Jayden over to his mum. "Jayden Alan Roscoe," Ziggy said. Sandy had tears flowing down her face.

Joe was bringing Daisy to the Hospital. "Has mummy had the baby?" Daisy asked. Joe smiled and nodded.

"A little boy," Joe told her. Daisy giggled.

Charlee had woken up. "Hey baby girl. This is your little brother Jayden," Selena said. Charlee smiled faintly. The door opened and Daisy came running in with Joe.

"Mummy!"

Selena turned and smiled at Daisy. "Hey you. Come and meet your baby brother," Selena said. Daisy came over and looked at her little brother in her daddy's arms.

"What his name?" Daisy asked. Selena smiled and cuddled her.

"Jayden."

Daisy giggled again and kissed her brother. Jayden had been placed in a cot next to Charlee, Joe and Sandy took Daisy back to the house. "Our baby boy is perfect," Ziggy mumbled. Selena kissed him.

"Our three babies are pefect," Selena said. Ziggy pulled Selena into his arms and they watched as their little angels slept peacefully.
