Chapter 70 - She Was Daddy's Little Girl

A/N ~ So, this is the last chapter of Daddy's Little Girl. I've loved writing this fanfic so much. I'm overwhelmed with all the support that I've had on this. It means so much to me.
This will be done different to the episode as I need to do it a certain way so the sequel will work out.

It was the day Maxine and Patrick were renewing their vows. Selena knew what was happening that day after the vow renewal. She wasn't ready to lose her dad.

That morning, Selena woke cuddled into Ziggy. She was trying to not cry. "Babe, what's wrong?"

"I'm losing my daddy today," Selena mumbled. Ziggy held her close.

"I'm sorry baby."

Selena gave Daisy and Charlee their breakfast and she fed Jayden. Daisy looked up. "Grandad get married too?" she asked.

"No sweetie, grandad and Maxine are already married but they want to remember their wedding so they're having someone special help them too."
Daisy was confused but she nodded and ate her breakfast. "I have no idea how im going to tell Daisy she's never going to see her grandad again," Selena mumbled.

Ziggy held her close. "I'll help you through this babe. I promise."

A Few Hours Later.

It was time for the wedding renewal. Selena got the kids ready. "I'm not ready to say goodbye. I can't say goodbye."

Ziggy kissed her. He was taking the kids to his mum after the ceremony. He was going to wait at the flat for Selena. "If you need me then just call or text and I'll be write there for you," Ziggy said.

"Thanks babe."

Ziggy went to check on Jayden who was asleep in his bouncer. "He okay?"

"Yeah."

Selena and Ziggy walked over to the Hutch with the kids. Patrick was outside. Daisy ran over to him. "Ziggy, could I have a moment alone with Selena, Daisy and Charlee?" he asked.

"Sure."

Ziggy walked inside leaving Selena and the girls alone with him. "I wanted to say goodbye to my granddaughters while I have the chance," Patrick said.

Selena was crying already. Jayden was too young to know his grandad so Patrick had said goodbye the day before. "You two girls are so happy and healthy. Look after your mummy like she has looked after you. She loves you both dearly. Remember that grandad loves you too."

Daisy giggled. "We ove you too grandad. Can me sleep over yours tomorrow?" she asked.

"No sweetie."

Daisy pouted. Patrick smiled and he saw how badly Selena was trying to cry. "Grandad has to say goodbye now. Remember that he loves you."

During the ceremony, Selena and Sienna were crying. Selena held Minnie on her lap and kissed her head.

Eventually the ceremony was over. Selena knew what was going to happen now. She took the girls over to Patrick along with Ziggy and Jayden. "Ziggy, look after my daughter. She's precious."

"I will. Thanks for the permission to marry her," Ziggy said. Patrick smiled. "See you Patrick."

Patrick had said goodbye to his grandchildren and Ziggy took them. They all went back to the house and Patrick was helped upstairs.

Maxine set everything up while Selena and Sienna had a final hug with their father. "Selena, I've a letter for you. I wrote it when I was able to. When I've gone then you can read it," Patrick said.

Selena was in tears. "Daddy, please don't do this," She sobbed.

"I'm sorry."

Selena broke down crying. Patrick was crying too. "I'd like a few minutes alone please."

Ten Minutes Later.

Maxine, Selena and Sienna came back into the room. Selena sat on the bed next to him while Sienna sat on the other side. Maxine made the drink. Selena's tears were visible on her face. "Don't cry," Patrick said.

"How can you tell me not to cry? I'm losing my daddy! I'm nineteen! I cannot handle this," Selena yelled. "I'm sorry for yelling."

Patrick kissed her head. "It's fine darling."

Maxine stopped suddenly. " I can't do this. I can't do it because I love you too much," She said.

"Maxine... please."

Maxine shook her head. "I can't do it!"

Maxine walked out. Selena walked out too. Sienna followed.

Nico and Patrick.

"I'll help you Grandad," Nico said.

"Thank you."

Nico helped Patrick take the liquid. He was losing his breath quickly. Nico stood back. She knew what he had done with the recording. She wasn't letting him get away with it. She puck up a pillow and suffocated him.

Selena, Sienna and Maxine.

The three of them walked back into the house and back into the room. Nico wasn't there and Patrick lay on the bed. He was gone. "Daddy?"

Selena went over to the bed and checked his pulse. She broke down crying. "He's gone."

The ambulance had come and taken Patrick's body away. Selena looked at the letter and puck it up.

With Ziggy.

Ziggy was waiting for Selena to come back. The door opened and she walked in. The tears rolled down her eyes. "He's gone."

Ziggy walked over to her and held her. She broke down in his arms. "I'm sorry babe," Ziggy said.

A few hours later, Selena and Ziggy cuddled in bed. Selena got the letter. She opened it and read it. "What's it say?" Ziggy asked.

My darling Selena,

I'm so proud of the woman you've become. You have made me so proud. You're an amazing mother to those children of yours. I have no doubt that you'll make a fantastic wife too.

I may have done things in the past that I'm not proud of. The things I am most proud of are you, Mark, Sienna and Minnie. I love you all.

I hope you'll take excellent care of Daisy, Charlee and Jayden. They're so precious.

Always remember, you were Daddy's Little Girl.

Selena broke down crying. "I was daddy's little girl."

Ziggy smiled. "You were babe."

Selena logged onto her facebook account and wrote the status -

Selena Roscoe - She Was Daddy's Little Girl.

Selena logged off and cried. "I love you daddy."

She was Daddy's Little Girl.
