Chapter 6 - Waking Up

Selena was still in the coma and the Doctors were starting to believe she wouldn't wake as it had been 2 weeks since the accident. Patrick had barely left Selena's bedside and when he did Sienna and Will were always there.

The doctors were waiting for Selena to wake up as they needed to find out weather she would be paralyzed from accident, Sienna had been questioned about the accident and breathalized. Dodger hadn't been to see Selena since the accident as he couldn't handle seeing his baby sister attached to all the wires and looking lifeless.

Since the car accident things between Maxine and Patrick had gotten worse he had given her a black eye but she had lied to everyone saying she walked in to a door. That day was nothing different Patrick had woken up expecting a call saying Selena had woken up but that hadn't come through "Patrick, I've made you some breakfast" Patrick glared "I don't have time for breakfast, I need to be at the hospital in case my daughter wakes up" "I'm sorry, I thought you might be hungry" "I'm not".

Arriving at the hospital Patrick saw Sienna "morning dad" "Sienna, have the doctors said anything about Selena?" "Yeah, they said she's showing signs of improvement" Patrick let out a sigh of relief "did they say when she would wake up?" Sienna shook her head "no but when she does they want to check weather she'll be paralyzed" Patrick nodded and went to see Selena.

Patrick was sat by Selena's bed hoping she would wake up that day, the doctor looking after Selena walked in "good morning Mr.Blake" Patrick smiled "how is my daughter today?" The doctor smiled "well I'm sure your daughter told you that she's showing signs of improvement and we're hoping she wakes over the next few days" Patrick nodded.

*3DaysLater*

Selena wanted to open her eyes but she was finding it hard to, she could hear voices around her...

Patrick was still by Selena's bed when her hand moved "Selena?" Patrick saw her eyes opened as Sienna walked in "Sienna, go and get the doctor" Sienna left and went to retrieve the doctor "Selena? Squeeze my hand if you can" Patrick felt Selena squeeze his hand and sighed with relief as the doctor walked in "your daughter told me that Selena has opened her eyes" Patrick nodded the doctor smiled "let me just check her vitals and we'll get her moved to another room" Patrick smiled.

Selena was fully awake but she couldn't remember why she was in hospital "why am I here?" "You and Sienna were in a car accident" Selena frowned "is Sienna okay?" Patrick nodded "she had a few cuts and sprained ankle" Selena nodded "how long was I out for?" "Nearly 3weeks, we were beginning to think you wouldn't wake" Selena smiled "can't leave you" Patrick smiled back at her "Holly and Kate have missed you" "I gathered that by the big card" Patrick smirked "they got the whole school to sign" Selena smiled "wow I'm loved".

4days later Selena was allowed home and she couldn't wait until she could sleep in her own bed. Dodger had arrived to take Selena home as Patrick was out buying her some presents "Dodgy Dodger!" "Selena, you ready to go home?" Selena nodded "get me outta here" Dodger grinned "where's dad?" "Out" "out where?" "I can't say" Selena frowned "tell me" "no" "Dodger, come on" "Selena no" "you're sad" Dodger grinned "I know".

When Selena got home she grinned and ran into her room "I've missed you bed" Dodger grinned "you're mad" "I know" Selena smirked when Patrick came back "daddy" Patrick smiled at Selena "glad you're home darling" Selena smiled "glad to be home " "I've brought you something" "ooo" Patrick handed Selena the bag and she sat on the sofa and opened the bag, pulling the iphone5s out "woah, thanks daddy" "anything for my daughter".

Selena was glad to be home but she knew it wouldn't last long.
