Chapter 7

Kakashi’s pov.

          Yuki was walking by me and hadn’t said a word since we had left the sand village. “So tell me about what happened.” I say as I look over at her and she gives me a small smirk as she looks me over. True I needed Guy to help me walk after using my mangekyo sharingan but I was still her father and her team leader so she had to tell me. “Ok so that clay bird thing would tighten around me every time I would move around and it got to the point where I just about passed out when something cut throw the clay making me fall to the ground. Before I hit the ground throw someone caught me and I realized it was someone from the stone village. Not much later after he caught me a girl appeared and they were asking me if I was ok. I tell them I was and was ready to leave when another boy showed up but he looked a lot like a girl keeping me from leaving because I was still catching my breath after almost being killed by that clay. I asked if they were genin and that was when their sensei showed up. They take me to their camp and ask me some questions after telling me their names. I tell them I needed to get back to my team and I run before they can do anything because I thought they were too far away. Their sensei stopped me telling me it was too dangerous to go back. The rest you know.” She says before looking me over.

          I nod my head not sure what to make of that. Why were there stone ninja so close to the sand village and why did they want to keep Yuki with them. Ten-Ten then tells Guy he is to slow and I tell him I’m sorry and Yuki giggles a little. “What’s so funny?” I ask and she holds her sides a little. “Your face.” She says between giggles and I give a small dry chuckle. It’s not like she was walking any faster than I was. She laughs harder when she looks at Guy and I had to admit he did look kind of funny. It was getting annoying that Ten-Ten was telling us to hurry. I explain to Guy why this was happening but I don’t think he was listening to me at all. Next thing I know I’m up in the air because Guy had thrown me and Yuki was looking up at me in horror. I could have sworn she was going to start screaming and I land on Guy’s back making me feel like a fool because of the way he was holding me. I look over at our teams before looking at Yuki who was looking a little shaky on her feet. “Guy, Yuki isn’t looking to good.” I mumble in his ear but he was too caught up in his moment to pay any mind to what I had said. Then Guy takes off running and I look back at Yuki who he knocked over but she wasn’t getting back up and that worried me. “Guy what about Yuki?” I yell but he didn’t stop and his laughing got louder.

Neji’s pov.

          Lee wanted me to get on his back like Kakashi-sensei was on Guy-sensei’s but I wasn’t going to do such a thing. I look around until I see where Guy-sensei and Kakashi-sensei had been because I expected Yuki to walk over but she hadn’t. I see something glow in the sun before walking quickly over to it and seeing Yuki on the ground her eyes closed and blood on her head. The others walk over and there was a small gasp form Ten-Ten. “Did Guy-sensei do that? She was standing by Kakashi-sensei when he threw him up in the air.” Ten-Ten says. I sit her up and start to pick her up. “Wait let me heal her head wound before we move her too much.” Sakura says and she does just that before I pick her up. “Lee would you like to carry Yuki? If you do you can’t be too reckless because I don’t know how badly her head was hurt.” Sakura asks. Lee has to think about it before shaking his head a little. “I don’t want to hurt her more then she already is.” Lee says and that leaves me and Naruto to carry her. “I’ll take her. She’s on my team after all.” Naruto says but I shake my head as I carried her. “Its fine Naruto I have her.” I say before we started to walk. After all this time I felt like Yuki was my little sister and we had trained a lot in the last few years. She was the only other person to make it to jounin around the same time as I did. She was much safer in my arms than she would be in Lee’s or Naruto’s right now especially with this head wound. I didn’t want to be the one holding her when we got to the village though because I didn’t want to have Kiba yell at me for hurting his girl.
