Chapter 6

Yuki’s pov.

          Kakashi was pulling off the seal and my heart was racing to see what was on the other side of the bolder that was in our way. Sakura punched the bolder and it blows away. I was behind Naruto and Kakashi lands in front of him. When we jump in Sakura and Granny were on my right and Naruto and Kakashi on my left. I was in the middle to keep anyone from running away. There on the ground was Gaara dead just like Yuriko had said. I knew Naruto was about to scream and yell which I didn’t blame him because I felt the same way. The blond Akatsuki member was sitting on Gaara like he was a rock which made my blood boil a little. “Now…Which one’s the jinchuuriki?” he asks and I could tell Naruto was close to losing it. He starts to yell and it was then that I knew that they knew something about Naruto.

          Naruto yells at them about sitting on Gaara and the blond one says something that I had a feeling had something to do with Naruto. I knew Gaara was gone the moment he didn’t answer Naruto and I was about to tell him to knock it off until Kakashi said something. I really wanted to hurt that blond that was sitting on Gaara. Naruto yells some more before starting to run over to them as if to attack but Kakashi get’s in his way stopping him. ‘We could take Gaara’s body from them or we could use that teleportation jutsu and knock that blond off without them knowing what hit them.’ Yuriko says and I clench my fist ready to make my move. “Yuki you can’t rush into an attack either without thinking. It won’t help any of us in the end.” Sakura says when she sees me take a small step forward. I could tell just by looking at his back that Kakashi was thinking about what was going on but it didn’t matter the moment they started talking about the difference in art. They were both fools because art wasn’t an explosion nor is it eternal. Art is just that art. I shake my head annoyed by their pointless talk and wanted to hurt one if not both of them for what they did to Gaara.

          The blond or should I say Deidara was looking us over again and I didn’t like the way he was looking me up and down. They were still arguing when Naruto pulls out a scroll and attacks with a big shuriken. I was a little surprised when a tail popped out from under Sasori’s clock to counter it. Next thing we know a giant clay bird was in the room and it picks up Gaara. There was no way I was going to let them take Gaara away. I was just about to throw a kunai at them when the blond get’s on that bird and takes off. “Yuki stop him.” Naruto yells at me and as it comes past I jump up hoping to land on it or pull the tail a little to make it go off course. I end up holding on to the tail and used a little chakra so I was standing on its underside so Deidara wouldn’t notice me. Was this guy really just going in circles? Was he trying to get Naruto to chase after him? “Girl how long do you plan on hanging there?” Deidara says pulling me out of my thoughts.

          “Long enough to get Gaara back from you and stop Naruto from fighting you.” I say before looking at the ground at Kakashi and Naruto. Something bad had to have happened because Guy and the others weren’t back yet. “Say does that jinchuuriki have strong feelings for you?” Deidara asks and I didn’t like where the questions were going. “Naruto is my team mate.” I snap as I look over his bird trying to find a weak point so I could break it open to get Gaara out. “Your name was Yuki right? As in the one that Orochimaru is looking for?” Deidara asks and I shiver a little. ‘How did he know that? If I don’t say anything then he might forget that he asked me?’ I think as I watch Naruto and Kakashi. Next thing I know there was a hand on my shoulder and I turn a little to see Deidara right behind me. He pulls me up to the top of his bird and looks me in the eyes. “You are. Hn…I could get paid a lot of money for you but that’s Kakuzu’s thing. But still if I take you back then we will get the cash. I think I’ll just do that.” He says before giving me a wide smile. “No.” I whisper before trying to get the hand signs done before I was covered in clay. No such luck on that but at least I tried.
