Chapter 17

Yuki’s pov.

          I wake again because of my nightmares but this time it wasn’t as bad as the last one. I woke up before Orochimaru killed Kakashi this time. “Nightmare again?” Kakashi asks before he pulls me closer to him. He sounded half asleep. “Yes, this time I woke up before the worst part of it meaning they are getting better I think.” I mumble before looking around the clearing we were in. “You want to take the next watch?” Kakashi asks before he puts his head on my shoulder. About an hour later everyone woke up and I push Kakashi over a little making him wake up quicker than the others. He glares at me for a few minutes before shaking his head and ruffling up my hair.

          Before his hand left my head I felt like I was that little 13 year old that came to the village all over again. “Let’s get going we have at least three more days to get there before the companion stars.” Neji says and I nod my head not wanting to fight. The rest of our trip to the stone village was quiet with the exception of a few jokes and light talking. When we got there I was soon wrapped up in someone arms and I was a little shocked. “Yuki it’s good to see you again.” The person hugging me says. They were soon pulled off me by Neji and I give a small sigh when I see Yuichi standing there smiling at me. “Hi, it’s good to see you again too? Umm do you know where the people competing in this tournament thing are supposed to go?” I ask and he smiles widely. “I sure do, my mission was to be a guide for one of the teams and I asked for the leaf village. If you will follow me I will take you to your hotel and to see the man in charge.” Yuichi says.

          “Yuki who is that?” Kakashi asks as he pulls me closer to him and I give a small sigh. “You remember how I was caught in that clay bird well Yuichi is the one who got me out. Well that’s him.” I say and he turns a little to look at me. “Omeray-sensei is going to be competing but I’m sure he would love to talk to you again. Akira is waiting for the sand village to still get here so he shouldn’t bug you too much and I think Chou is with people from the water village.” Yuichi says and we stop and a nice looking hotel. “Right I’m supposed to tell you the rules.  1. No fighting with people from other villages or your disqualified. 2.  No killing allowed at all in the tournament or you will be disqualified or arrested and put on trial. 3. No jutsus will be allowed in the village unless you’re in the arena or there is a chance for being disqualified or even docked points depending on the jutsu. 4. There will be special rules for all the rounds but they may or may not be allowed in others. I think that’s all of them. The tournament doesn’t start for another day or two because not all the villages are here.” Yuichi says before leading us into the hotel. “This is the team from the leaf village checking in.” Yuichi says to a pretty red headed girl behind the counter that blushes madly at him. We were given two room keys and Yuichi leads us up to our rooms. “Girls in one room, boys in the other. It’s to prevent problems.” Yuichi says and Kakashi’s hold on me tightens.

          “That might be a problem.” Asuma says before shaking his head and looking at all of us. “A big problem.” Kakashi says not looking away from Yuichi. “A big problem? How is that? I mean I can’t let one of the girls sleep in the same room as two men and one man in the same room as two girls.” Yuichi says panic rising in his voice. “Sensei’s what is the problem?” Ten-Ten asks a little nerves. “Will you be ok to sleep by yourself? No nightmares? I can’t come check up on you like normal.” Kakashi whispers in my ear and I bit my lower lip not sure how to answer. “No.” I mumble and Kakashi sighs. “Let’s just get settled and we can deal with the problem later.” Kakashi says and gives me a gentle push to the girl’s room. I chose the bed in the by the door even if I wasn’t going to be sleeping on it. Ten-Ten was going to share with me. Once our bags were put on our bed we meet up with Yuichi again and he lead us to this big arena that looked new. “This is where you will be competing.  Just like all the other teams you will have to fill out the cards for the tournament don’t worry it doesn’t ask for anything to personal mostly your name and specialty. They want an idea of what kinds of ninja were sent for this.” Yuichi says as we are lead over to a table that has one man at it.
