Chapter 14

Yuki’s pov.

          They accepted what I was and were treating me the same just like dad said they would. “She’s the goddess of elements. I was chosen because she came to my mother in a dream and asked if I could be her host. My family was part of the reason why she made the deal with my old village in the first place. Yuriko still hasn’t told me all the reasons why me and why my family but I think it might have to do with my kekkei genkai.” I say before looking over my shoulder at dad. He was a little shocked because I hadn’t told him all of this but he didn’t have a problem with finding out now. “Is Yuriko the reason Orochimaru wants you or is it your kekkei genkai?” Shikamaru asks. He had this lost in thought look on his face for a while. “I’m not sure. I mean my brothers went to him after that man was killed and asked for his help to get me. They want to kill me because that man did so they are just following in his footsteps.” I say and the thought of my real father made me mad.

          “That man? Who is that man?” Choji asks and Asuma clears his through. “Her real father. He lived in our village and knew about jinchuuriki so he faked his death so he could kill her if the village they were living in failed.” Asuma says making everyone that didn’t know gasp. Naruto was crying now and Sakura pats his back. “That is why you got hurt and kidnapped that one time right?” Naruto asks between sniffs. I nod my head slowly. “Yes, but I was more afraid of my older brother because of one of his jutsu’s. He tried to kill me in my dreams before the exams started.” I say suddenly feeling hallow inside. I didn’t like talking about this and was just at about my limit. “I think we can all agree not to tell anyone about this right?” Tsunade asks stopping any other questions from being asked. They all nodded their head and I trusted them not to say a word about it even to each other.  “Can I ask on last question?” Yamato asked making every one look at him. “I guess so.” I say a little worried about what he might ask. “Why does the Akatsuki want you?” he asks and every one freezes. I don’t think the others remembered that part that it wasn’t just Orochimaru that might be after me.

          “Well I don’t know. I mean I don’t think they know all about what I am with the exception of Itachi and Kisame but I’m not even sure if they really know.” I say and Naruto stiffens. “Why would Itachi know?” Naruto asks and I give a small sigh. “My older brother not the one who almost killed me n my dreams the other one told Itachi. I don’t know what he told him but….” I say and then Naruto shakes his head. “Is that what Sasuke meant when he said he would never let Itachi have her?” Sakura asks and I freeze in my spot. They had talked to Sasuke and seen him. He told them Itachi couldn’t have me? “When did he say this?” Kakashi asks as he puts his hand on my lower back. I think he was mad about this. “When we went on our last mission we ran into Sasuke and he said Yuki would be safer with him then in the village or with his brother in the Akatsuki. Then he said Itachi would never have her.” Yamato says and I give a small sigh. ‘This could not get any worst.’ I think and Yuriko giggles. ‘Sure it could. Ino and Sakura could find out that Sasuke kissed you and told you that he loves you.’ She says and I had to agree with her on that. ‘Yeah but I don’t love him anymore. I mean I’m with Kiba and I think Gaara still has feeling for me.’ I tell her and she laughs as well. ‘Well it could be worst if you had stayed I mean he would have tried to take you and then Kiba would have lost it and blamed Naruto or Sakura for not bringing you back to the village and…’ Yuriko was saying but I missed the last part when something hit my face and I looked around the room a little confused only to see Ino in front of me her hand by my face.

          “See she was just spacing out.” Ino says in a victories tone and I sigh a little irritated she would do that. ‘Stupid girl let me at her.’ Yuriko says and I laugh at that. “Yuki?” Kakashi ask from behind me and I turn to look at him. “Yes?” I ask a smile on my face still. “Why are you laughing?” he asks in a slow even tone. “Yuriko told me that I should let her have a go at Ino for interrupting us.” I say before giving him a smile and he shakes his head. “Told you she was talking to Yuriko.” Kiba says and Akamaru barks in agreement. “It happens sometime.” Kurenai says because there have been many times I was with her when Yuriko has something to say and I look like I’m spaced out. “Sorry, she was just telling me how things could be worst. I mean, well you know what I’m talking about don’t you?” I say and dad nods his head in understanding. “So Itachi wants you because of your brother?” Shikamaru asks and I could tell he was worried because of his tone of voice.
