Chapter 26

Kakashi’s pov.

          I was on my way to check on Yuki when I noticed that there were sand ninja who were in our village. ‘That’s odd there shouldn’t be any sand ninja here.’ I think as I keep walking. When I get to the hospital I notice an angry looking Kiba who was screaming at a sand ninja who was pushing him back a little. “What’s going on here?” I ask as I walk over to them. Kiba looks over at me before pointing at the ninja in his way. “They won’t let me in to see Yuki!” he screams before stomping his foot. “I already told you that my orders were to keep everyone out of this room until my superior is out of it.” The ninja says looking a little worn down by how much he has had to deal with. “Right Kiba come with me.” I say as I walk into the hospital the sand ninja following us not too sure about what we were going to do. I walk right up to Yuki’s room making him grab my arm. “You can’t go in there.” He yells but I open the door a little shocked to see Gaara standing there. Yuki looks over at me before smile. “Snow I was so worried about you.”Kiba says as he runs into the room over to her. He grabs her hand before placing a small kiss on her hand making her blush madly. Gaara looks at Kiba before looking up at me than to Yuki.

          “Kiba I’m fine you shouldn’t have been so worried about me.” She says as she pulls her hand free and pats his hands a few times before she looks up at me and giving a small shake of her head. “Why is he here?” I ask as I walk over so I was standing behind Kiba but looking down at Yuki. She sighs before closing her eyes as if thinking. “I came to see how she was doing. I wanted to know my friend was alright.” Gaara says as he looks at me and I give a small sigh before nodding my head. I could understand that especially since information about Yuki’s health wasn’t going to be given out to just anyone. “I guess I understand that.” I say but I still wasn’t happy with the fact that people were going to keep me out of my daughter’s room. “Sir it’s dangerous to be alone with them.” The ninja who tried to stop Kiba and myself out said. Gaara nods his head a few times before looking at his men. “You didn’t do your job very well. No one was to come in here unless they are family.” Gaara says before looking back over at me and Kiba.

          “Gaara you shouldn’t keep my dad and boyfriend away from me. They were probably scared half to death when they were told by some sand ninja that they couldn’t come into my room.” Yuki says making Gaara sigh a little before he nods his head. “Your right, I’m sorry Yuki.” He says before turning. “I hope you come to my village soon so I know you’re really alright.” Gaara says before he and his men leave. I watch them leave before looking down at an angry looking Yuki who huffs a little before looking away from us. “Yuki we were worried about you.” I start but she stops me by raising her hand. “I don’t want to talk about it because I understand.” She says as she looks over at Kiba but not me. I sigh in relief as she relaxes a little a sleepy look on her face. “What did Gaara want?” I ask and Kiba stiffens a little. “He wanted to see how I was doing because we are friends. He didn’t talk much in the short time he was here before you two burst in.” Yuki says before she gives a small yawn. She looked half asleep so I gently tap Kiba’s shoulder to get his attention. He nods and we both leave a now sleeping Yuki in her room.

Yuki’s pov.

          I was finally let out of the hospital and Sora was heading home. I didn’t get to really talk to him after our fight because Naruto, Sakura and Kiba kept him away from me. I hadn’t told the others I was being released today so that I could surprise them at dinner which Tsunade had set up so no one would get suspicious. I giggle a little as I walk over to the window in my hospital room and open it to let in the fresh air. Today was a great day and I was enjoying being better. None of the nurses or even Sakura were allowed into my room after yesterday so it was just me and my thoughts.  I walk around wanting to be out of this room that I had been in for almost 3 weeks. I sigh for what feels like the hundredth time today as I wait for Tsunade to tell me that it was time for this dinner.
