« STUPEFY »

Lillian often wondered what it felt like to be an animal, she was in awe ever since she had seen a cat turn into their transfiguration teacher on her first day at Hogwarts, she envied Sirius for being able to go wherever he wanted in his dog form, she respected Lupin for being so strong yet so humble as he had to deal with lycanthropy and now, she loved her father even more as she knew about his hidden wings.

She had dreamt of flying away, not to leave or find a place where peace was waiting —she knew the time would come, but because she wanted to feel the wind on her skin, she wanted it to be so strong a few tears would escape her eyes and her hands would be icy, she wanted to explore freely.

But she had to be stuck in the greenhouse for her herbology class. And the most annoying part was that they were reviewing the Fire-Making Spell, again for the OWL exam, when it was probably one of the easiest incantation and that they were probably a lot more difficult things to learn and plants to discover.

Flames brought Lillian's mind back into the classroom, noticing Ron's robes were currently burning and Seamus started babbling non-sense, apparently trying to apologize.

"Aguamenti," Lillian said blankly, water running out of her wand that was pointed in direction of the flames.

"Thanks," Ron breathed out, glaring at the gryffindor who was responsible for the damages.

"Do you know someone who could give me the notes from yesterday's divination class?" Lillian asked, looking for Harry.

"Why don't you ask me?" Ron answered, pretending to be offended.

Raising an eyebrow, the side of her mouth twisted into a small smirk, "Do you have the notes?"

"I.. Uh," Ron stuttered, "No."

"What was I saying?" Lillian laughed, putting her bag on her shoulder, "I guess I'll have to go see Trelawney."

"Miss Henderson," Professor Trelawney said as the teenager walked inside the classroom, "How are you doing? I heard about what happened in potions yesterday."

"I'm alright, thank you," she answered, stuffing her hands in her pockets, "I wanted to know if you had given any assignments in class yesterday?"

"Yes I did, I want you to write down a diary with your dreams and analysis so we can work on them in class."

"Okay, thank you."

Before going in the Great Hall for dinner, Lillian quickly swung by the Gryffindor's common room, in order to drop her bag and books, and finally made her way to dinner. However, something always seemed to slow her down, for whatever reason.

"How's your head, Henderson?" Blaise said behind her, as she was about to step inside the room to join her friends.

"Perfectly fine, Zabini."

"Are you sure? You seemed quite off today, in fact, you're unusually pale," Blaise smirked, hands in his pockets, "Not that I pay much attention to you anyway."

Lillian rolled her eyes at his cockiness, "Are you done yet? Because I'd actually like to go eat dinner."

"Why don't you sit with us," Blaise offered, still smirking, "at the Slytherin's table, where I must say, you would belong much more."

Lillian almost choked once Blaise was done talking, "Excuse me? I do not belong in your house, sorry to disappoint."

"I'm sure I can show your dark side to everyone."
