« THE PREDICTION »

Under the influence of the Imperius Curse, Lillian was stuck in a corner of the living-room, forced to watch Hermione be mutilated and tortured by Bellatrix Lestrange. She had begged for her to stop, which had only caused Bellatrix to dig in deeper, adoring the loud cries of both the teenage girls.

Lillian seemed long gone, her eyes lost by pictures of the Malfoy family near the chimney, that her vision was obstructed by the presence of Lucius. Using his wand, he dragged her along the cold black and white tiles as she crashed on her back, her eyes closed. It was her turn now.

She gritted her teeth, as the seconds leading to the beginning of her torture felt like hours in her head.

"Crucio," Lucius whispered as the girl emitted the sharpest scream anyone had ever heard.

She was convulsing on the floor, as Hermione was begging over and over again for them to put an end to it, being blatantly ignored. On the contrary, it only fueled the Malfoy's determination to complete, at least, this apparently easy task. Torture a disarmed teenager to death.

Except, she stopped screaming only a few seconds into the torture. And, even if it looked like she was dead, she had already been tortured by the Dark Lord himself, who had much more power than all the wizards currently standing in the Malfoy's Mansion.

A beach drew itself upon her eyes, the waves crashing on the shore in increasingly loud sounds. Hermione was crying in Ron's arms as Lillian had to turn around to see the real reason of this... dream? She could only see it in a flash but it was crystal clear. Dobby was in Harry's arm, his robe covered in blood.

When Lillian opened her eyes, she was back in the Malfoy's Mansion. She only had enough time to let her head fall to the side, making eye-contact with Hermione who was laying down a little further, that Lucius pointed his wand, the curse causing a long shriek to resonate against the walls.

The tears pouring down her face made it hard for her to see if Draco was looking at her but the pain was so strong that it didn't even matter. Everything would be over soon. The pain was growing, ripping every part of her body from the inside, as her bones cracked incessantly and her lungs shrunk, Lillian no longer screaming but, instead, desperately fighting for air.

Once more, the curse stopped affecting her, but because Lucius had to stop to protect himself from the teenage boys who had found a way out of the cellar. With every ounce of strength she had left, she opened her eyes as she had to watch powerlessly the fight happening. She couldn't even recognize anyone that she was lifted from the ground effortlessly and the last thing she saw were the piercing blue eyes of Draco before he painfully looked away.

And the group apparated, the only thing left from them being a tear that had escaped Lillian's eye and fallen on the freezing black tile, as Draco vanished down the hall, locking himself in his room as he muffled the most painful cry before crashing his fist against a mirror.
