« QUIDDITCH TRIALS »

Lillian and Hermione were sitting beside one another on the bleachers, Luna sitting on the bench under theirs, watching as Cormac walked next to Ron.

"Cormac's going for Keeper as well?" Lillian exclaimed, earning some glares from his friends. "What?! I don't like him."

"Lilli!" Hermione interrupted, a low chuckle escaping her lips.

"Don't deny what's true, he's gross," Lillian added, this time speaking slowly. "And Ron better win this or his brothers will kill him."

"You mean you will kill him," Hermione corrected.

"It's the exact same thing."

Hermione laughed but soon the two teenagers were silent again as they watched every player fly to their spots before the game started.

Even if Lillian didn't like Cormac, she couldn't say he was not good. Indeed, he had a lot of style when he stopped the quaffle meanwhile Ron was struggling to even stay on his broom. Lillian also kept an eye on Ginny who was truly impressive as she avoided almost every single player whenever she had the ball in her hands.

At some point, Ron fell off his broom, desperately trying to get back on it with his bare hands.

"Come on, Ron!" Lillian shouted and clapped when he successfully managed to go back on it.

It was almost the end of the game and it was a perfect tie for Ron and Cormac. Lillian was barely sitting down anymore, standing up in anticipation every time Ron would have to stop the quaffle and grunting when Cormac would stop it with ease. She knew Ron could win this thing he only needed more self-confidence.

"Confundus," Hermione muttered under her breath, causing Lillian to gasp and turn around.

"What the bl—"

But before she could finish her sentence, Lillian caught a player throwing the quaffle to Cormac who was literally pushed aside by Hermione's spell.

Lillian couldn't contain herself and let a loud laugh, clapping as she sarcastically congratulated Cormac.

"Don't worry, you'll get it next time!"

And Ron made the difference as he stopped the quaffle with his head, the whole crowd erupting in cheers, including Lillian who was screaming at the top of her lungs.

"That's how you do it! That's my boy!"

"I have to admit, I thought I was gonna miss that last one," Ron ranted proudly.

Lillian raised an eyebrow but ignored her best friend, instead reading once more the paper work that was due for the next day in potions, making sure it was perfect.

"I hope Cormac's not taking it too hard. He's got a bit of a thing for you, Hermione. Cormac."

"He's vile." Hermione answered, shaking her head desperately.

"That's her polite way to say he is absolutely disgusting," Lillian added.

"Have you ever heard of this spell? Sectumsempra?" Harry asked, putting his potions' book in front of Lillian's and Hermione's face.

"No," Lillian simply answered as Hermione groaned.

"No, I haven't! And if you had a shred of self-respect, you'd hand that book in."

"Not bloody likely. He's top of the class!" Ron explained, "He's even better than Lillian! And that's quite the level to reach. Slughorn thinks he's a genius."
