"Tyler I'm nervous for 5th grade." Josh told his best friend of four years.
Josh was still as shy as he was when they were six. Everyone kept telling him that he would grow out of his shyness but he never did.
They were currently sitting on the bus on the way to their first day of school.
"Don't worry Joshy, I'm here for you, and if anyone tries to hurt you I'll kick them in the balls!" Tyler said as he scooted closer to him and wrapped an arm around his shoulders.
Josh couldn't help but giggle, his best friend was so silly.
"I can't believe we're almost in middle school!" Tyler exclaimed and Josh fidgeted, he hated the idea of getting older. It meant responsibilities and it also meant ordering food ALL by himself at restaurants and Josh wasn't quite ready to do that.
