Even at class, Jin still seems to be bothered about dying. Her friends can tell that because of the way she behaves.
During break time, Rheykie talked to Jin on the 4th floor at the upper deck of their school, "Are you okay?" Rheykie seems to be worried.
"Yes.. I am fine."
"Well, you don't look like it. You know, I'm also bothered by this death thing while at class. I almost have gone nuts!"
"Rheykie..."
"But.. when the bell rang for recess, I've forgotten all about it!'
"Nyeh!"
"I guess eating food is my happinesss."
"Then you should have gone to the canteen rather than bringing me here," Jin was laughing about this.
"Yeah, maybe you're right. The thing is.. eat all you can."
A sudden silence.
"Eat all you can?" Jin's thinking about a place where you can eat lots of food without paying so much.
"I mean, while you are alive just eat whatever you can and want. You know, just don't stare at the food and wait for it t get rotten. Eat it all while you still can."
Jin seems to get what her friend is trying to point out.
"I must be going to the canteen now. You should eat too, Jin" while running toward downstairs, "You don't want to starve to death, don't you?"
"Oh Rheykie."
While still standing there, a voce said, "She's right you know." Jin was surprised.
"W-who said that?" wondering.
"That it is good to eat" another voice said.
"Where are you?" they both sound familiar to her.
"We're up here."
Jin climbed up the ladder at the rooftop.
"I knew it, it was you two" Jin was referring to the twins.
"Here," Aldred threw something to Jin.
"Eat that," Ardent ordered.
"Our mother made that ham-cheese deluxe sandwich for us, but you can have that one."
"Thanks."
"You're welcome," bothe the twins said at the same time.
"Can I ask you something?"
"Who??" the twins asked at the same time.
"Uhm.. both of you."
"Sure."
"Uhm... being boys, are you.. aware of you're death?"
"What do you mean?" Ardent asked.
"Well-uh.." finding the right words to say, "How do I say these? Mostly, boys like you likes to fight, to get in troubles, watches violence in some TV programs..."
"Girls too!" being interrupted by the two.
"Y-yeah, some girls too...Hehe. What I'm trying to say is that when you do these things, don't you think you might die all of a sudden? For example, tbose soldiers who fight in battles for the glory and honor of their country and those who are in the rebellions or terrorists. Don't you think it's a waste of their time fighting and killing each other? That if they die, what the heck would be the result of it? I mean, it's useless isn't it?" she's being emotional to what she was saying.
"I don't think so, Jin" the twins said together again.
"Huh?"
"Fighting and killing each other until the end, non-stop."
" 'Till no one is left."
"Or the strongest remains."
"Maybe you're right about the fact that it's useless 'cause they'll die in the end."
"Of course I'm right!" Jin answered quickly.
"But then again, they died with no regrets in their hearts."
"Because they died fighting for the desire they want, to the belief that they holdin' on 'till the end."
"To them, it doesn't matter if they live or die. As long as they are contented about it," this ends the twin's lecture.
"Contended.." Jin was like staring at space.
"Oh I really don't like reciting long answers like that!" Ardent complained.
"Yeah, me too! Next time Jin, don't ask hard questions like that," Aldred added.
Both of the twins looked stressed out, "It's like..answering a long math test you know.'
"O-okay. Sorry."
"Oh well, let's go back to our room."
"Right."
All the tree of them went back to their classroom.
