Prologue
Deep in the dark recesses of Hell, a sinister plot was unfolding. Shadows danced along the jagged walls of a dimly lit cavern where demons of all ranks and sizes huddled around a colossal, tattered table. They whispered in hushed tones, excited and fearful, as they pored over twisted diagrams and dark blueprints, each a piece of their grand plan.
"Hey, Ashro," called Marcus, leaning over to his comrade as he scrutinized the plans. "Have you seen Zane yet?"
A low chuckle filled the cavern as a tall figure strode forward from the shadows. His eyes burned like embers, casting a fiery glow in the murky depths. "Starting the meeting without me, are we?" Zane's voice was both playful and menacing, his presence sending a ripple of silence across the room.
"N-no, sir," stammered Marcus, straightening up. "I was just... curious where you were."
Zane smirked. "Good," he said, his gaze sweeping over the crowd of demons. "Today marks the start of our conquest. We're going to take Heaven, claim it as our own, and rename it... 'Helleaven'—until some of you can come up with a better name, of course."
A murmur spread through the crowd until Alex, a newly ascended demon, found the courage to speak up. "No, sir. I think that's a great name," he said with an eager nod.
Zane's grin widened. "Good. And Alex—welcome to Hell."
"Thank you, sir," Alex replied, pride flashing in his eyes.
Zane raised a hand, silencing the assembly. "Listen closely. After we take Heaven, we're going to do more than just claim it. We're going to kill the Lord Himself, along with all His angels. Well... not all of them. The ones who survive will serve us. They'll be our slaves."
A gasp swept through the crowd, followed by low growls and hisses from the shadowed ranks at the back. Zane's words had struck a nerve, igniting both shock and fierce excitement among his followers.
"Yes, you heard me right," Zane said, his voice rising above the murmurs. "I'll say it again: I will kill the Lord and every last one of His angels until there's no trace of them left."
A roar of cheers erupted around the table and echoed through the caverns above as the demons embraced their dark purpose, driven by Zane's vision.
As the plan took root in their minds, Zane turned and walked away, his laughter reverberating through the walls of Hell. His followers trailed behind him, one by one, each of them ready to bring his ruthless vision to life.
