That was scraped off the edges of our love
The eagerness to throw ourselves into the water
When we both knew we'd drown
Did you feel the same pain that I did
When our hearts stumbled over glass
Or are you happier now
With bandages wrapped around you
And a new man hugging you
I miss you dearly, as you would know
I haven't felt love since you disappeared
Behind new arms and a fake smile
Worming into my broken one
