To the morning before yesterday
When everything was fine
And nobody crossed the line
We were two peas in a pod
Your hand filled with sod
It was an evening of dancing
And i confessed to prancing
In your backyard, a jungle of love
Your eyes were as green as clovers
When I took you out into the sun
I've never seen anything like it
I held you like a hot garlic bun
Afraid to hurt you too much
But I had nothing to worry

Only to catch pain in a glove
When I saw you dancing with another
