Bethany's point of view
It was Saturday, a day to relax. It was 7am, and I got woke up from a call from Joshua. "Hello?" I said half asleep.
"Hey! I'm having a little get together at the park at 11! wanna come?" Joshua asked.
"I guess I could come for a bit...." I said.
"Great! See you at Sandy park, 5 minutes from your place?" Joshua asked.
"Y-yeah! See you there!" I stuttered and hung up. It was the 2nd of June, so it was pretty hot in California. I just laid back in my bed, and snuggled into my pillow. "I might as well get up, now that I'm awake!" I said to myself.
I jumped outta bed, and heard loud noises and swearing coming from my bothers room. He was playing video games again! I barged into his room. "No swearing! Your only 12!" I shouted and slammed the door behind me. I heard him copy me.
I sat at the table, waiting for my pancakes to bubble. I got up, flipped them and sat down again. "17 years old on the 16th!" I laughed. I took my 2 pancakes out of the pan and put some whipped cream on them and started to dig in. My mom stood in the doorframe with tears in her eyes. "Yes mom? What's wrong?" I asked worried and dropped my fork.
"Your brother punched me again!" Mrs. Casper cried.
"It's ok mom. You'll be ok!" I said, hugging her.
I decided to give her my other pancake I had left, so I could go in my room. It was now 8:30. I got up to go into my closet and pick out an outfit. It was perfect! (Picture above). I went into my bathroom and brushed my teeth. I put beachey waves in my hair, and did a sort if dramatic makeup look to finish it off. I of course grabbed my phone, and of course snapped like 5 selfies, and OF COURSE uploaded them to social media.
It was now 10:45, and I started to drive to the park, with the sun roof down in the car. I had Taylor Swift music on in the car. I arrived there, and Joshua was with a girl, that looked a lot like him but the opposite gender. I parked the car and hopped out. "Got a girlfriend Josh?" I asked as I walked towards him.
"No. Actually she is my twin sister. Meet my sister, Jackie!" Joshua introduced.
"Hey dear! What's your name?" Jackie asked and shook my hand.
"I'm Bethany Casper!" I said.
"Beautiful name Bethany!" Jackie laughed.
"Thanks! Yours too!" I smiled.
We talked and talked for a bit, and became good friends already! Jackie is really nice, but sadly she doesn't go to the same school. She goes to the one 2 hours away from here. She's just down for a visit!
It was 1pm, and I had to go. I waved goodbye and hopped back into my warm car. I turned on the AC and drove back home. I stopped at Starbucks and got a cool drink on the way home, and brought one home for mom too! I pulled into our driveway, and slowly made my way out of the car. "Mom, I got you your favourite drink!" I said, handing her the drink.
"Thanks sweetie!" Mrs. Casper said happily.
I ran up to my room and threw my purse on my bed and slipped off my blue zipped up wedges. I just laid, flat on my bed in a dress, which was the wrong thing to do. I sat up, to my phone getting a text come through.
Hayley: Hey. What are you doing now?
Bethany: Oh, just chilling
Hayley: Jessica is being rude to me and Tanya. She won't talk to us!
Bethany: She's not talking to me either. She just must have cold feet
Hayley: Haha yeah. Bye ttyl
Bethany: Bye Hay!!
Hayley Andrews has logged off.
