Chapter 5 - First Kiss???

Bethany's point of view
I woke up, early Sunday. I got another text from Joshua.
Joshua: Hey Bethany, sorry if I woke you. Wear something really fancy, I'm taking you to dinner at 12 as friends
Bethany: Ok, I'll be ready. It's 9 now so I'll start
Joshua: Ok, seem you there!
Joshua Anderson has logged off

I lazily get up and pick out a gorgeous outfit, from my walk in closet. I run downstairs, and make a waffle and quickly eat it, and run upstairs again. I put my hair in a ponytail for now, and got ready in my outfit (picture above). I got my complete outfit on, and I took down my hair. I got my curling wand out, and put very big curls in my hair and with very intense makeup. It was now, 11:59 and I was ready on the dot. I heard a knock on the door. "I'll get it!" I yelled. I opened the door and there stood Joshua, in a tux and holding a rose. "I thought it was only as friends!" I exclaimed.
"It is. It's a friendly rose!" Joshua explained.
I nodded my head. He took my hand and guided me to his new SUV. We pulled into a fancy diner called The Red Rose Diner. It was always my dream to eat here, but mom said we can't.

We got a two person seat and sat down. "You l-look beautiful!" Joshua stuttered.
"Why thank you Joshua. You look great yourself!" I smiled.
"Thanks!" Joshua said.
Our waitress came and asked for our drinks. We both got the iced-tea. She came back 5 minutes later to order our food. We both got the seafood chowder with a side of garlic bread. When we started to eat, we seen Elissa walk in and she walked over to us. "How's your little DATE going huh?" Elissa teased.
"It's not a date Elissa, it just a friendly hang out together!" Joshua spat.
"Huh! Well then I'll see you guys tomorrow!" Elissa cried and ran off like a baby.
I just sat in silence of what just happened.

We finished up our lunch, and Joshua payed. It was very nice. He drove is to a beautiful garden and we stood by a water fountain. "Thanks so much for doing this and coming out with me today!" Joshua began.
"No problem!" I said nervously.
"There's just one thing left to do..." Joshua said.
"What?" I asked.
Joshua quickly reached in and kissed me on my lips. When he broke the kiss, I was just there red faced,many smiling. "Maybe dating you wouldn't be a bad idea!" I smiled.
"So, you'll be my girlfriend?" Joshua asked.
"Yes Josh, I will!" I smiled.
He smiled happily, lifted me up and gave me a quick kiss then put me down again. "Let's get you home!!" Joshua laughed.
