Monday
Cassie's POV
I woke up, and noticed it was Monday. Oh no! I was terrified!! I slowly got up, and got in a beautiful pear of dark wash jeans, and a purple silk blouse. I paired it with black wedges and a "diamond" necklace. That fake diamond (duh). I brush my teeth and do my hair. After I throw on a bit of makeup, and find Caleb ready, sitting on the couch. We grabbed a banana and munched it up. Mom gave us our bookbags and lunches, and drove us to school since she had to go to work at the same school. Sadly, she only taught us Science and that's all because she's an elementary teacher.

Bethany's POV
I sit down in my classroom, waiting for those 5's and 6's to storm through the classroom door. *Bell rings*. My class storms through the classroom door, and I do my attendance. "Is everyone here?" I asked.
"Yes, Mrs. Andrews!" Jamie smiled. I smiled back, clicking on my attendance. I have Science now, so my class heads to gym, and the grade 7 class walks through the door. "Caleb and Cassie, front of the class please!" I smiled. They nodded their heads, and stood before the grade 7's. "These are my children that I recently adopted. Meet Cassie and Caleb!" I said cheerfully. Everyone replied with a hello or a hi, but they were all nice and welcomely. They took their seats once again, and we began with the lesson. "Turn to page 8 and 9 in your textbooks. We're gonna learn about the respiratory system!!" I announced. Some kids cheered and some groaned.

It was last period, and it was Art class. I gave my class an open studio where they could paint, draw or colour in a class art book. It was great fun, and I enjoyed seeing my class happy. The bell rang, and I told them I would clean everything. They got their backpacks and left the classroom under my dismissal. Cassie and Caleb came into my classroom to help me tidy up. After I was done with my after school duties, I drove myself and the kids back home.

I served them some brownies and water for a little after school snack. I began cooking some shrimp linguini for supper. Not much longer than an hour later, Josh arrived home. I gave him a kiss, and he put his briefcase down, and got undressed out of his uniform, and into something comfy. I did the same. Supper was ready and we ate up. "How was your first day guys?" Joshua asked the kids.
"It was great! Everyone was so kind to me and Caleb!" Cassie exclaimed.
"Yeah it truly was. But there was this one boy, and he was a little snotty," Caleb chuckled.
"Ah, that's Lana's son, Carson. Lana's a nice lady, but Carson is a little.... Eh mean," I stuttered.
"Who's Lana?" Caleb asked.
"She's one of my good friends from collage, and she still is today!" I explained. He nodded his head in response. We finished up supper and had a great evening from there.
