Chapter 20 - Getting used to the place

Cassie's POV
I woke up in my new, bright room. It was big, and cozy. My walls were a pretty orange, my bed covering was blue. I had a picture of my actual mom on my side table by my bed. She died last year in a car crash, and my dad hated me and Caleb. He even abused us! My new mom, Bethany gave me some of her old clothes, that was still in good shape but was too small for her. My room even had my own bathroom! Same with Caleb's and my new parents. How can a house have four bathrooms? One in each room and a main one? I crept up, and made up my bed. I seen "mom and dad" peacefully sleeping, and they were so cute together! Caleb was awake too! His bed was made, and he was also dressed. I heard mom get up. I thought I was gonna be in trouble!

Bethany's POV
I heard people walking around, so I get up to investigate. I walk into the hallway, to see Cassie and Caleb in the hallway. "Please don't get mad! I'm sorry!" Cassie cried.
"Hun, sorry for what?" I laughed.
"F-for being up before y.... Wait, your not mad?" Cassie smiled.
"Of course not! By the way, were transferring you and Caleb at your new school today, so you don't have to go till Monday!" I explained.
"Ok, I'll go get dressed and we'll go and Introduce ourselves and everything!" Cassie smiled and went off to her room.
I went into my bedroom with Josh and shut the door. "We gotta get dressed, were transferring Caleb and Cass over!" I explained. I got into a nice outfit (picture above) and Josh did too. When we got to the living room, Cassie was sitting on the couch in a nice floral dress that was sleeveless, and pink wedges. Her hair was braided and she did casual makeup. I did the same hair as her and I did more of an intense makeup. Caleb was dressed in a polo shirt and mid length capris with sandals. We had some fruit for breakfast and we left the the Buick.

We arrived at the school, and we sat down in the principals office. "Good morning Mr and Mrs Andrews, Cassie and Caleb!" Principal Dominic smiled.
"We're here to transfer our adopted kids to a grade 7 class please!" Joshua said.
"We need to see their health records and more papers," Principal Dominic said.
We talked for a while, and he seen all the papers he needed to see and they were transferred! "I'll see you kids Monday morning!" Principal Dominic said.
"Bye, have a nice weekend!" I smiled and we were on our way back home.

Caleb's POV
When we got back home, I went into my room and sat on my bed. I'll be 13 in a week, I better get my act together! I heard my mom calling out to me, and Cassie was out here in the kitchen too. "Are we in trouble?" I asked.
"No, but we'd like you to sit next to your sister please!" Bethany said. I did as told and I still got nervous. "Me and your mom have a surprises for you guys!" Joshua smiled. They handed Cassie and I boxes of different sizes. We both got a big and small box each. "Open the small ones first guys!" Bethany smiled. We did as we were told, and Cassie got a rose gold iPhone 6 to match mom, and I got the gold iPhone 6 to match dad. Cassie started crying, and mom gave her a hug. We opened the big ones, and we both got a 50" tv. "I know your birthdays are next week, but it's just a welcome gift from us!" Bethany smiled. I was so grateful to have them as our parents!!
