About a week later.... Saturday
Bethany's POV
It's the twins birthday today!! They're finally 13. It was around 10am, and I got Lana to take them to a movie, so Josh and I could setup for a surprise birthday party. I also got her to take them shopping for a half hour after the movie too. We went into our party room, and setup the decor in their favourite colours, Cassie's orange and blue, and Caleb's red and green. We split it in half with the decor. We had a cake for each twin, a Orange one for Cassie, and a Red one for Caleb. I got a buzz on my phone at 12pm.
Lana: The movie just ended, still need the shopping?
Me: Yeah. For a hour now please?
Lana: Sure thing. See you then!
Me: Thx so much Lana. Bye <3
Lana: No prob! Bye!
Lana has logged off.
We continued to decorate and bring a ton of gifts over on the present table. It was just a little party for the four of us, plus Lana to have a little bit of fun. Family sent in gifts for them, so we placed them on the table too! Everything was set, and the kids got home. We turned out the lights, and stood in the room. Lana told them to follow her to the room. Cassie turned on the light. "Surprise! Happy birthday guys!" Me and Josh said in perfect harmony.
"Thank you!!" Cassie cried and gave us both a big hug. Caleb did the same. We started dancing with a bit of music. "Happy birthday. Your teenagers now!" Lana giggled.
"Yeah we are. Thanks Lana!" Cassie smiled and hugged Lana. Lana smiled back.
Gift time! The kiddos opened their gifts. Lana gave Cassie a beautiful crop top, white shorts, and a blue iPhone case. Caleb got a green lamp for his room, from Lana. We gave them a ton of things!! We gave them an Xbox one each and some games for it, a Apple laptop each. It was just fantastic! Afterwords, we sang happy birthday, and had some cake. The twins loved their cakes. The frosting said: Happy 13th birthday and their names. I just loved seeing them happy. After an hour or so later, Lana said her goodbyes and left. Gigi gave me their gifts yesterday to give to them. She gave them both a gift card to a store of their choice, for $50 each.
I made some chicken wings for supper, and we had some pasta to go with it. "Thank you for the amazing day!" Cassie smiled.
"Yeah, thank you very much!!" Caleb stated.
"Oh, your welcome. Anything for you guys turning 13!" I giggled.
We finished up supper, and that's how the rest of the night went. Talking about the great day we had!
