"Teddy, darling. Take Ethan though to the Platform, please." I asked my 19 year old godson. He lived with his grandmother after the Second Wizarding War until she passed away when he turned 9, then he came to live with my family.
"Of course, Haley." He took my son's cart and helped him pass through the wall barrier. This was my son, Ethan Cedric, first year at Hogwarts along with his cousins Albus Severus, Harry's second son, and Rose Weasley, Hermione and Ron's eldest. Harry and Ginny's eldest son, James Sirius was in his second year.
Ethan looked just like his father, the same blonde hair and very similar face structure, except for his eyes. He had my eyes, my mother's eyes. Our two nine year old identical twin girls, with strawberry blonde hair and their father's grey eyes, refused to stand still.
"Molly. Stephanie. Come on, we need to say goodbye to your brother." I told them and they took mine and their father's hands and we passed their the barrier.
Teddy and Ethan were waiting for us. The six of walked over to meet the rest of the family, Harry and Ginny with their three children and Ron and Hermione with their two. Ginny walked over to me and gave me a hug. "About time, we were starting to worry."
Draco sighed and shook his head. "The girls were refusing to let Ethan finish packing. We had to put on a movie to get their attention off of him." He hugged Ginny and Hermione before walking over to greet their husbands,.
Teddy helped Ethan load his trunk and then all of our children started to board. Rose, who was a beautiful mix of both her parents, hugged them both without being asked. James and Albus both hugged Ginny and Harry at the same time. Their younger sister, Lily Luna, hugged her brothers but was very upset that she couldn't go yet.
"Ethan Cedric, get over here and hug your mother." Draco said in a playfully stern tone. Ethan laughed, rolled his eyes and hugged us both. "Don't worry about the house your put in, it doesn't define you as a person." He smiled and patted the top of our son's head. Ethan was so worried last night because he wanted to be put one of our houses, but I had a feeling he'd be put into Ravenclaw.
Our girls were more interested in talking with Hugo and Lily than saying goodbye to their brother. "Molly Minevra and Stephanie Jean, come over and say goodbye to your brother. You know you won't see him until Christmas."
They both jumped on their brother for hugs like they did on his birthday. All the children went to board the train and sat together in the same compartment. "When do we get to go?"
"Yeah, Molly and I wanna go with Ethan! Hugo and Lily too!"
Teddy came back over to us after saying goodbye to his girlfriend Victorie Weasley, Bill and Fleur's daughter. "In time, little sisters. You have just two more years." Taking their hands from us. Draco wrapped his arms around me and watch his son, niece and nephews on the train bound for the school we all spent so much time at.
The train started to pull away from the platform and Hermione started to cry. "Oh, I miss her already! Now I know how my parents felt." We all laughed and our children waved bye to us through the train window. We all stood and watched as the train disappeared, like we did since James got his letter.
Even though Hermione, Ron, Draco and I didn't have a child going that year we all made it a point to be there. We planned that every year on send off day, no matter if we had a child going or not, we'd all be there. We all then would go back to Grimmuald Place, where Draco and I lived, and would have dinner and talk about the children. What house we thought the new students would be placed in? What adventures they might get into? Who their DADA teacher would be this year?
Soon they had to leave, we put the twins to bed and Draco and I would sit on the couch watching Titanic.
All was well.
Thus ends my Harry Potter FanFiction! I hope you enjoyed it!
I do want to do a sequel but I can't decided if I want to go back and tell Haley and Draco's story from after the battle, including their wedding, the births of their children and work or if I want to pick one of their children and tell their story. I'll probably do both but I'm not sure which one yet. I'm also going to be back at school soon, so I won't be able to upload as often but I try my best.
