Everything has been planned for Aria's body to be taken away, Ezra had the job of calling the ambulance and pretending how he had walked in and found Aria's lifeless body on his bed, but he hadn't. The man had watched Aria's last breaths, saw her chest rise for the last time and he couldn't stop speaking to her. He didn't want to let go, this couldn't be real. This can't be how it ends. Ezra felt nothing.

The funeral is packed, people Ezra knew were near the front the rest were strangers and it hit him how many lives Aria had touched. To him, Aria was his world he never noticed how many lives she had inspired on the way by. Even people who disliked the dark haired girl showed up because even if you hated her you would never be able to forget her, she made too much of an impact. Ella walks over the Ezra, it is the first time they have seen eye to eye since Aria was alive and Ezra fears the worst. This could turn into a rage of fury from the woman, blaming everything on Ezra but she doesn't. She hugs him. Ella makes Ezra sit at the front with them, her four friends sitting closely behind. Then it was time for the eulogy. Ezra had spent the whole time since Aria had passed writing this so as he stood up in front of the loved ones of the woman he loved more than anyone he began to feel nerves hit him.

"This is not my first draft at this speech and probably won't be my last because it will never do the greatest justice for Aria. Words do not begin to describe her grace and how when she walks into a room it would light up. Aria had the ability to cure your sadness with a smile and her presence would bring you safety and comfort. I loved Aria. I love Aria. Not a day goes by that I cannot think about her, whether it be just by seeing her smile when looking to the stars or feeling her warmth when placing on an oversized sweater. I will never forget Aria even if I tried to, but I do not. The small amount of days I was given with the girl was a blessing, just coming into contact with Aria was a blessing. She was my world and I believe no matter how hard I try she always will be."
Inside Ezra was completely different to what the words coming out of his mouth declared- he was broken. He would never be able to get over Aria. He would never be able to sleep without seeing her closing her eyes for the last time. He was haunted by her and would never be able to get the image of her dead body out of his mind, but of course you wouldn't declare that at a funeral.

Weeks went by and Ezra constantly sat in the same seat he always did his eyes watching the position he knew that Aria would be sat in. As he placed his glass down he walked over to the bed trying to get any sleep he could but instead ended up stubbing his toe off the bedside table, knocking the whole thing over. Cursing to himself he tried to readjust it when he found a letter marked 'Ezra X' on the front.
