Chap 6

Teri P.O.V

I woke up to dried tears on my cheeks.

I need to go for a jog, that is the only way I can cope with this.

I walked to my bathroom, washed my face and brushed my teeth before putting on some running pants, a undershirt, and the matching Jacket. I threw on my Nike's.

I put my hair in a ponytail. I didn't feel like any makeup on.

I got in my car and checked my phone hoping Sherri would have texted me.

I looked. All my messages unread. All my calls, still never thought about.

I sighed and started the car and drove to the park.

I got out and put my earbuds in. I started running like they're was no tomorrow.

Lap after Lap. I couldn't stop for some reason. Maybe after my 7th lap I slowed a little into a jog and only because people bagan to run to.

My phone buzzed and I looked down to see a text from Bradley.

Group Message: Sher Bear❤,Cierra, Maia, Hayden, Danny, David, Jake, Peter.

Bradley- Foster Cast, We are having a party today at 3 pm! To see if we get picked up be there or be square.

Me- Im there.

Peter- Im there! Of course

Sher Bear❤- I'm free! And Peterson if you don't get off my line talking about minions.....

Peter- Well you said to just talk so I did. *drops mic* Peter OUTTTTT

Cierra- Im there , and dead

Maia- David and I are there since we have a starbucks date (not literal).

Danny- Nucci in there like swimwear.

Jake- Cierra and I are there. Since she is like watching spongebob next to me right now.

Hayden- Wow I don't even watch Spongebob no more.

Cierra- Hayden don't hate the watcher okay?!?

David- Late but like Maia said were there!

Bradley- Okay see y'all there.

I knew Sherri was ignoring me. I knew it.

I felt something tap me. I turned around and took the ear buds out my ear.

I looked up to this man. His teeth white. His hair curly and his complexion white. He smiled at me. "Umm you dropped your keys back there and I just wanted to hand them to you."

I smiled back. "Oh thank you. Teri and you are?"

"Landon. And I've seen you on television actually. Wait Teri. Teri Polo from Liverton High. I was your 12th grade date to prom. We dated for like 3 years in high school." He answered.

Oh my gosh. He has grown all the way up. I smiled. "Landon Harrison. I remember you. You gave me my first set of roses."

He laughed. "Yep. They came right out of my neighbors plant."

I laughed. "All my life I never knew that."

He smiled. "I know I was good at hiding it."

"So what do you do now Landon?" I asked.

He smiled. "Well I am a business man. I own buildings, and I happen to own this park my dear."

I finally looked at the sign. "Harrison Park? Never ever have I ever connecting two and two together."

He laughed. "I guess because I actually run in my own park, they don't think I own it."

"We'll today I have a party to go to, but we should hang out some other time." I answered handing him my phone.

He smiled. "Of course." He grabbed his phone handing it to me.

I put my number in and texted myself.

He smiled. "Nice running into you Teri."

He turned and began to jog away. Ughhh. Should I?

Forget it.

I ran and caught up with him. "Actually Landon I would love for you to accompany me to my party if you would like."

He smiled. "Sure text me the details."

I nodded. "Okay."

I jogged by him for a few more minutes until it was 12 then decided it was time to go get ready.

I texted him the details and went home to take a shower and get dressed.

I dressed in a pair of jeans, a pocket jean shirt, and some flats. I threw a cardigan on.

I walked to my car and met Landon at the gas station so he could know the way there.

Soon we were on our way to the set. I hope it's not as awkward as I know it will be. I hope my thoughts are just out of there and that there might actually be some communication.

Will Sherri be mad that I brought another person. Espically a man?

Oh my gosh, what if she feels played? I would never play her. Landon is just a friend.

But she doesn't know that. She's probably going to ignore me anyway..... ughhhh.

We parked outside the studio. I got out the car and Landon opened the door for me. He smiled as nerves hit my body.
