Teri P.O.V
I got out the car and opened her door letting her out buying us a little more time here. I don't know if this is going to hit the fan or not to be honest.
She got out the car and I closed her door. We walked to the door. "Love please just keep calm ok? If your done we will just leave ok?"
She slightly nodded because the door to the house opened and out stepped Mrs.Saum.
Sherri didn't move and tried to turn around after a few seconds. "If you don't deal with it now then when is it going to get solved love?" I asked catching her halting her movement.
She sighed before answering. "Never. But thats ok with me."
I shook my head. "No its not. If it was ok with you, she wouldn't have got the reaction that she got Sher."
She took a pause in thought before speaking again. "Listen I'm over it. I will be fine without her."
"Sherri you won't and we both know it. Just please go give it a chance please?"
She looked back at her mom who stood there waiting and most likely hoping that her daughter would talk to her. "If I go, and I said if. Will you make things right with Kaitlyn?"
I answered. "Of course." Kaitlyn and I argue a lot its become pretty simple to fix it. I walk in, she looks down, I apoligize, then she apoligizes then we go eat.
She didn't respond instead she turned around and walked towards Mrs.Saum.
When she made it on the porch, her mom tried to hug her but Sherri just walked pasted her into the house.
I looked at Mrs.Saum as she spoke. "Guess I deserved that cold shoulder huh?"
Hell yes! "Kinda Mrs.Saum. Sher just needs a little time thats all."
She nodded at me before walking towards the livingroom where I assume Sherri was. When we got there she was sitting on the coach on her phone.
I sat next to her and she grabbed my hand finally looking up as her mom sat down in front of us.
"Doodlebug, now I know what I said hurt you but im sorry." She said in one breath.
Sherri scoffed. "Wow. This is why I didn't want to come."
Her mother sat back and took a deep breath. "I apologized. I'm sorry."
"I know. A sorry mother right?" Sherri spoke.
My head shot her way and she was staring straight ahead. I whispered in ear. "Calm down please. We aren't leaving until its cleared up."
She didn't respond instead kept her glare firmly on her mother who responded with "A sorry mother? You hit me with that? What have I ever done?"
"Umm let Greta judge me for my entire life. Pick Greta and her goons over me. Favor Bri over me twenty four seven. Disowned me when I got my first girlfriend. Never listened to me. And not to mention-" Sherri got cut off by her mom.
"Sherri I get it ok." She put her hands up. "I wasn't that good of a role model ever since me and your dad hit the fan."
Sherri froze. "Hit the fan? When was their a hit to any fan in you guys relationship?"
"When you were 18 and moving out it got hectic for a bit." She muttered.
Sherri just nodded in understanding. "Oh ok were going to add that to the list."
Her mother took a deep breath. "Sherri I'm not perfect, and I never will be. I only ask of one thing and that is for you to forgive me and let me try again. I know I haven't been the best mother to you, letting you endure all that I let you endure but it doesn't matter if you let me make up for it. That is if you'll ever let me make up for it?"
