Teri P.O.V

I kinda just want to go home. I'm worried about Sherri. I don't think she was ready to face this yet. I feel like I'm pushing her into something that she's not ready for.

I looked up and Sherri was staring at me with awe. "Your not pushing me if I wanted to go."

I chuckled. "Was I talking out loud?"

She laughed. "You were mumbling."

Ah a real smile for once. Not the whole I'm trying to smile for you Teri gig. She's back to smiling a real smile. Laughing a real laugh for once.

She dropped her smile as quick as it fell upon her face but hey it was there. That's all that matters really.

She put her head back into her phone scrolling threw instagram and twitter.

I'm so glad Peter hasn't said anything because it will cause a spiral that I cannot handle. If I have to punch him and make my ribs burn I will. Mad as hell but I will for Sherri.

Cierra broke the silence. "So...."

Maia finished. "Let's talk. Let's get back to being a actual family at heart and not just on some screens in the world. So let's talk. Please just talk it out."

Maia hated silence. She couldn't stand it as well as Cierra. Hayden's head was so far into his book that he didn't even look up when we entered.

He was reading a book called 'Divergent'. Interesting cover if I do say so myself.

No one spoke up so I did. "Listen-"

Peter cut me off. "Nope. Listen to me. I have messed up most of this family and it's about time that I fixed it. Sherri this is gonna hurt but I need to tell you that, Amber and I had something going on for years. And me not telling you is my fault. Mines. I don't know Sherri. Amber and I were just really closed in when it comes to us. But I should have told you."

Silence

Sherri in response grabbed my hand and squeezed it and I realized that she was trying to make the tears not fall in front of everyone.

I pulled Sherri up. "Umm we'll be right back."

I pulled her into the hallway and threw the bathroom door, making sure I locked it this time.

As soon as I turned back around she had enclosed me into the tightest hug that she's ever given me. She didn't cry, instead she just stood there. Hugging me.

I hugged back and she put her head in my shoulder. She pulled back and started laughing.

I looked at her like she was crazy. "Sher why are you laughing?" I asked.

She shook her head. "I was actually about to cry and then I was like 'Sherri why cry when you have Polo?'and I thought it was funny that I was about to waste my tears on him."

Okay Shocked was a understatement. "Sherri, did you drink again? Did I not throw away all the liqour?"

She laughed in response. "Teri I am not drunk. But I'm not stupid either. And the stupid thing to do would have been to cry over him, when all he's trying to do is break me." She shrugged.
