Sherri P.O.V

2 Weeks Later

I was being pulled by Teri. "This is not a good idea." I kept telling her and after the 2nd time she stopped answering.

She sighed and turned around. "You said you wanted to get your mind off the hurt right?"

I nodded. "Yes I do remember saying this 2 weeks ago."

"Well then come on Sherri." She pulled me threw the house down the steps and out the back door into the back yard.

She let my hand go and I stood there. She looked at me. "Just do it."

"No I just told you I don't want to." I responded.

"Sherri come on now." She rubbed her temples.

"We can't. What if Kaitlyn wakes up?"

"Babe Kaitlyn is a deep sleeper. Now when giving the chance, you won't do it?" She asked.

"But we're leaving the door unlocked and I don't have shoes on."

"Babe the back door and we're like gated in. Plus I don't have shoes on either."

"What if we step in poo?" I asked.

"Baby we will not step in poop."

"Are you going to come with me?" I asked giving in.

She nodded and smiled. "I told you I am."

"Go first."

"Sherri-"

"Please?" I pouted.

She sighed. "No this isn't my anger and pain babe this is yours."

"Babe this-" I signaled me and her. "This is our anger and pain. As a whole."

She laughed at that statement. "We are indeed a whole. But my other half is in pain right now and stalling isn't going to help my other half so."

I sighed. "I don't see why we can't just drive around the-"

"Woman do it." She spoke more demanding.

I walked up to my gate and jumped it with an ease. I had a teen past of jumping these. My feet landed in grass. I took a deep breath.

Teri came over after me. "Now was that so hard my dear?" She asked me.

I shrugged. "Yes because you took the hard way of this. I mean we literally could have climbed into my car and drove not more than 2 minutes around the corner to this beach."

She smiled and laughed at me. "I do often take the hard way out. But what's the fun in the easy way?"

"I wouldn't know because you won't let me take that way out."

She laughed quietly. "Kiss?"

"Nah." Was my response shaking my head.

"Here's your chance to take the easy way out though babe."

I shook my head. "Now what's the fun in that?"

She arched an eyebrow. "Wow. Your feeling better huh? That sarcasm is back."

"What? Never." I exclaimed quietly. "Now come on we need to like get threw these other yards."

"I know. I know. Can you still do flips?" She asked randomly.

I nodded. "17 years of cheering I better be able to."

"Ok. Just asking let's go."

I looked at the next gate we had to jump. I walked up to it and jumped it. I landed in Hanna's yard.
