Soon I was being shook awake. I opened my eyes to see my mother. She had a concerned look on her face, and I was confused too. I had no idea where I was. But soon all of the memories flooded back into my mind. I looked over at my arm, confused because I felt no pain any longer. I looked at my  mom.

They gave you medicine.

She signed to me. I guess she must've known what I was wondering. Mom's have a way of knowing those things.

I'll be right back.

She told me. I slowly nodded. She got up and walked out. I sat there, looking at the plain white walls, and I felt extremely home sick. It felt like hours but was probably about five minutes when my mom came back into the room.

We're leaving.

She signed to me. I felt happy about that. The doctor came in and unhooked my from all of the machines.  He nodded slightly at me and then walked out. A nurse came in in his place and handed my mother a sling for my arm, she helped me get it of to support arm so it would heal faster.  She took my other hand and together we walked out of that wretched place.

The drive home was possibly the worst thing ever. I wasn't able to say anything like a normal girl would. Sometimes I hated being deaf. After an hour drive back to my house we finally got there. I got out of the car and took my mom's house key. I slowly walked up to my front door and slipped the key through the doorknob. I opened the door. It was completely dark in the house, which I didn't like. It made me feel lost. Suddenly the lights were turned on and my eyes were trying to adjust, I saw tons of people in my house. I was caught of guard. I was scared. There were some people there that I knew, but others that I didn't. But they looked like they were from my school. I looked back at my mom who just walked through the door. She looked as shocked as I felt.
