I was so glad when my mom pulled into our driveway. When she stopped the car I quickly got out. I rushed to the front door and got the extra key that was under the mat. I unlocked the door and rushed inside. I really wanted food. I rushed to the kitchen and pulled a frozen burrito out of the freezer and popped it into the microwave. I walked into the living room and put "Lion King" into the DVD player. I'm so glad my mom bought the DVD version of that movie! I quickly turned the subtitles on so I wouold know what's going on. Then I ran into the kitchen to see if my burrito was done. It was. Thank the Lord. I took it out and headed back into the living room. I seated myself in the huge squishy chair that we have and watched the movie.
After the movie, I reached for my school bag to do my homework. Then I remembered. I didn't get any because of the fire. So instead I walked over to our dinosaur of a computer. I went to check my emails. There was one from my school;
Dear Miss Delair,
We are very sorry, but regarding the incident today. We will not have students arrive at our campus until the school has been repaired. I hope you are well.

What do they mean they are "Sorry"? This is great! No more school! This is great! But little did I know about what would happen.
