Chapter 5

*Toby's POV*
"Yeah, hi. Are you that Toby kid, Anna's been talking to?!" I heard an angry voice say. "Hold on, who are you?" I ask stepping away from Anna.

"Jacob. And listen here. I don't give a damn about how you feel about Anna. I love her, okay? I don't want you around her. You're like all those others celebrities out there. Just trying to fuck her. If you dare lay a finger on her, I'll cut your god damn balls off. Bye"

I didn't even have a chance to reply. I walked back towards Anna and handed her, her phone. "So, what'd he say?" Anna asked with a smile. "Oh, just saying how wonderful you are." I said trying to lie.

She smiled back. Good. She believe me. "Yeah... Jacob has been like my best friend since kindergarten. He's like a big brother. Ya know?" She asked. "Well. Sorta. Only considering that I have my own brothers." She laughed. Too cute.

She dried off then walked back inside. I quickly followed after her. We walked back to our hotel room. Hand in hand. Her hand was so small compared to mine, but it fit perfectly. I wrapped my arm over her should. Her's around my waist. She wasn't that tall compared to me, but that was perfect.

When we got back inside our room, it was already 3:00 pm. "Anna, our manger wants to leave at 5, is that okay?" I asked. "Yeah, I'm just gonna shower and all." She replied. "Okay." I say as I drifted off to sleep.

*Anna'a POV*
I was just about to get into the shower when my phone buzzed. It was a text from Jacob. "Hey, sweetie ;)" he texted me. A few of my friends told me that he liked me, but I never let if get to me. I texted him back saying I would talk to him later and then that was it.

I walked into the shower. Just standing there for a few minutes. Letting the water warm my cold body. I never got how I was always cold. Then I grabbed the shampoo and started to wash my hair. I started to think. I thought about all my scars I made before, my friends, Jacob, my family, and Toby.

Right when I started to think of Toby, all my insecurities got to me. I thought I had huge thighs, my hair always got dirty so fast, my teeth are so crooked, and so much more. The tears started to flow down my face, past my mouth. I could taste the saltwater.

I quickly got out and got dressed. I opened the door and found Toby asleep. I decided to leave him there.

I walked outside with my phone and hotel room key. I sat on a bench and called Jacob.

"Hello?" I heard him say. "Jay-Jay!! Yay!!" I giggled. "It's me, Anna!" Jacob screamed into the phone. "I miss you." He continued. "I miss you too.." And our conversation went on. He was moving. Not far though. We weren't going to live near each other, but same school.

Our call last about an hour and it was 4:15. I went back into our room and Toby was there and awake. He was watching the best show ever, Drake and Josh. When I saw the show I jumped on his lap. Then I yelled "YOU'RE WATCHING MY SHOW!!" I said in a little girl's voice. He just laughed and kissed me.

I got up then curled my hair. I was starting to cry again. More insecurities. I cried quietly which was good. I quickly put on make up so I didn't look bad. Then I saw the time was almost five. Toby was ready to go. He grabbed my hand and I took the SnapBack he gave me.

We got into the bus again and I decided to sit next to Riley. I was tired, but they weren't. I snuggled next to Riley and took a quick power nap.
