Meeting Someone New (Toby McDonough/Before You Exit Love Story)

Chapter 22

Anna's POV

I got back home with my family. Tomorrow we were going school shopping to round everything up. Then Tuesday shopping for clothes. THEN Wednesday, school starts.

I'm really scared actually. I'm probably gonna screw up everything! What if I'm not good enough? All the nerves were getting to me.

To calm myself down, I was on my lap top searching what I wanted. I obviously wanted to get everything One Direction! Of course I rather would have Before You Exit, but that's not out... YET! I know they'll make it big.

It was about six at night. I was shocked at how time flies. Then I got a call from a blocked number. I carefully picked up my phone and answered.

"Hello?" I asked just a little worried. You never know who could be on the other line. "Hey! It's Niall. C'mon out! Lets go to the movies!" He said cheerfully. I paused. "Ummm... I can't." I lied. "Oh, um... Okay. Here's my number. We'll keep in touch love, yeah?" He asked. "Yup." I said casually. And then I wrote down his number and hung up.

I don't get it though. Now all of a sudden boys are liking me. Boys never liked me in school. Now I have what? 3 celebrities and my best friend crushing on me. All of who have kissed me.

"ANNNNA!" I hear my mom yelling for me. I yell back "WHAT?!" "DINNER!!" She replies. I then race down. I love food, but defiantly not as much as my friend Rachel! She fricking loves that stuff.

I grabbed my plate and sat at the dinner table. No one eats there. Then I noticed my sister wasn't there. "Mom? Where's Mae?" I asked. "Over at Emily's again. Why?" She asked. "Just wondering..." I said casually.

I quickly finished my food and went up stairs. 6:59. Wow. I almost ate for an hour. That's weird. I decided to take a quick shower.

I soon get out and get dressed. Then Toby pops up into mind. Then my phone rings. Speak of the devil! I pick it up. "TOOOOOBY!!" I scream. "ANNNNNA!" He mocks me. I laugh. He's so funny. "Wait... Bus party hasn't started yet... So why'd you call?" I asked. "I can't stand not listening to your voice. I miss you so much!" I felt tears build up. "I miss you too, Toby-kins." I say with a smile.

Then I heard Joan in the background yelling at the boys to get ready. Then before I know it. She's on the phone! "Hi, sweetie!" She said sweetly. "Hi Mrs. Joan." I said politely. "Sorry you can't talk to Toby now. I know you two really miss each other. It's just they have to get ready for the bus party." She said still sounding sweet.

"It's ok! I completely understand! Tell the boys to have fun and good luck!" I tried to say cheerfully. "Alright." She laughed. "Bye Anna!" She said. "Bye Mrs. Joan!" I said softly.

I then looked at the time. It was almost 9:00 pm. I decided to get into bed. I was tired and tomorrow was gonna be busy. I thought a lot before finally falling asleep.

I woke up at 8:00 am. It was nice to sleep nicely like that.

I got up and walked to the bathroom. I brushed my hair, brushed my teeth, then curled my hair. I've always liked my hair being curly.

I put on some shorts and my favorite Abercrombie and Fitch shirt. I put on deodorant and perfume and walked downstairs. I grabbed my flip flops and completely forgot my iPhone, purse, and necklace!

So, I ran up and got them all. I walked into the basement and waited for my mom.

As always, my dad was there doing work. So I sat on the couch. "Hey Anna- banana." He said. "Hi daddy." "So... You and that umm... Toby kid. Right?" He asked. I got nervous. My da doesn't let me date and this isn't my first boyfriend.

"Yup." I said awkwardly. He nodded and looked back to his lap top. I waited about five more minutes and my mom finally came.

"FINALLY!" I screamed. She laughed. She told my dad bye and I did the same.

We walked out of the house and into the car that will soonly be mine. We got into the car and drive to Office Depot. That's where ALL the 1D + OD stuff was.

It took up about 15 minutes to get there. It wasn't bad. We were listening to the radio and I noticed that the radio show host was talking about that if he gets enough people to vote, he will play Before You Exit! But it's 'I Like That' and Toby doesn't have a solo, but that's fine! I'll always support them.

My mom pulled into the lot and there were tons of screaming girls. I got scared. I then got out of the car and started to walk towards the doors. I took a picture and sent it to Niall. I don't know why but I just did.

And then I got a text back. Soon enough, one if the DIRECTIONERS noticed me. I fell like I'm about to pee!
