Meeting Someone New (Toby McDonough/Before You Exit Love Story)

Chapter 21

*Anna's POV*

I woke up at noon. It was Sunday and I have to go to church.

I got up out of bed and saw Sasha. She was such a cute pug. I got up and walked to my dresser to brush my hair. When I got there, I noticed a note. It said:

"Sorry about having to leave, a note. It was the only thing I could think of. I just wanted to say I'll miss you sooooooo much and that I love you! I'll see you soon, babe! Stay beautiful (;

- xoxo Toby oxox"

My cheeks burned. He was just too sweet. I smiled and quickly brushed my hair. Then I walked into the bathroom and brushed me teeth.

I put the small collar on Sasha and walked out. I could tell she needed a walk, plus she wasn't potty trained and if my parents saw her have an "accident" I'd be dead.

I walked Sasha across the street into the bigger neighborhood. I wanted to stop by to see Jacob. I missed him.

I walked about a good three minutes before getting to his house. I picked Sasha up.

I carefully walked up the steps. I quickly rang the doorbell. With in minutes, Jacob opened the door.

"ANNA!!!" He screamed almost crushing me and Sasha. He stopped because he heard her whimper. Poor girl!

"Can I let her roam around?" I ask as I walk in. He nodded and I sat her down.

We started to walk to the big living room. "I forgot how big your house was..." I mumbled. I heard him laugh and that made me smile somehow.

I say down next to Jacob on the sofa. "So, how are you?" He asks looking deep into my eyes. "Good..." I reply. "Toby left again. He'll be back after school starts. You?" I asked.

I saw him look....hurt? I didn't know. I'm not the best with guys. It depends I guess. "Ok, I guess. I just want to getter first day of school over with." He tried to make a joke. I laughed at how stupid it was.

Eventually we got into the deep conversation when I got a call. I give Jacob the 'wait a minute' finger and walked out if the room and unit the kitchen.

I answered my iPhone. "Hello?" I asked not even checking the caller ID. "What! Do you not even remember your own boyfriend?" He teased. I just laughed at that. He could always make me smile. And I mean ALWAYS.

"So what's up?" He asked. I could her the concern. "I'm just hanging out with Jacob." I said. Then I heard screams. I laughed. "You go get to your fans! They need you! Call me tonight after the bus party. Kay?" I asked. He sighed. "Okay... Bye! I love you!" He said. "Love you too!" I laughed.

I walked back in the room and say on the couch. "Who was it?" Jacob asked. "Toby." I said. I smile crept on my face. I could feel Jacob tense up. So I turned to face him. Then right there, he kissed me!

I quickly pushed back. I looked at the clock. I had to make an excuse to leave! So I did. "I... Umm.. I have to go to church. Bye!" I said while getting Sasha. I walked out the door with Sasha. I was so confused.

I got home and quickly got dressed for church. Just a simple white dress. I put on light make up and grabbed my purse.

I walked out the door and then into my dad's truck. I was thinking about what just happened. 'This is gonna be a long day' I though.
