Meeting Someone New (Toby McDonough/Before You Exit Love Story)

Chapter 13

*Toby's POV*

All the questions came rolling in. Everything about Before You Exit and me and Anna.

It was so nerve-wracking. I was scared I was going to say something wrong, and then I wouldn't be able to be with Anna. "So, what do you like most about Anna?" Said the girl sitting next to Connor.

I looked at Anna. She was looking down. I took her hand. "Is there even an answer to that question? I love everything about Anna. She's perfect." I said meaningfully.

I meant every word I said. Anna's face was bright pink. She was still looking down which made me upset, but she did squeeze my hand.

Soon enough dinner was over. Anna and I were the fourth to leave. We said all of our goodbyes and left hand I hand. It was so nice to be with her.

As we went onto the tour bus she laughed. "What's so funny." I asked worriedly. "Nothing you, bimbo." She said as she kissed my cheek.

She walked into our room. Then I got a text from Cody.

Cody: "Sorry, mate. It's sad to hear what happened between u and Anna"

Me: "Actually, things are better now. Thnks for the concern. Bye!"

It made me think a little how he knew. Anna probably just told him. Soon Anna walked out in gym shirts and a tank. "I'm tired!" She pouted.

I laughed and picked her up. "Well, if it's sleep you want, it's sleep you get!" I said cheekily.

I picked her up bridal style and carried her into our room. I carefully put Anna onto the bed then, I took off everything but my boxers. I lied down next to he and pulled the blankets over us.

"I love you, Toby..." Anna mumbled. "I love you too, Anna." I said as I kissed her shoulder. I grabbed her waist and brought it closer to mine. I was so happy for her to be mine.

I kept on thinking of thoughts of us. Anna and I. It'd be perfect. Soon enough, my eyes got heavy. I quickly went to sleep.

*Anna's POV*

I woke up to an arm around my waist. I couldn't open my eyes just yet. It was too bright.

As soon as my eyes adjusted to the lighting, I noticed what room I was in. Toby's. He was right next to me. I didn't want to leave today, but I had to.

We weren't breaking up, but school was starting soon. Time to see Jacob and Erica! I can't wait.

I packed everything up. It was surprisingly quick. Then I walked over to Toby. I lied down next to him so our faces met.

I smiled. Then I crashed my lips into his. I could tell I woke him up because I could feel the smile when we kissed.

I quickly broke the kiss. Toby smirked. "You should really wake me up more early, huh?" Toby winked. "Oh shut up!" I said as I playfully punched his arm.

"So ummm. Toby. I've got some news..." I started off nervously. "Yes?" He said taking my hand. That almost made me burst. "I'm going home today. School starts soon. Damn seventh grade..." I mumbled the last part. He knew I was young to be dating him, but I guess he just didn't care.

I help my hand and kissed it. "It's okay, Anna. I want you to have a good education and have fun." He said while I moved onto his lap.

I smiled. "I promise." I said holding out a pinkie. We chained our pinkies then kissed them. "You're so childish." Toby chuckled.

"That's what you get for dating.... Me!" I said cheerfully. I checked the clock. I had to get to the airport.

*35 minutes later*

We arrived at the airport. Almost no one there. The kids in Jersey were still in school for about another week.

Toby took my hand. We did everything we needed to. We ended up with about an hour until I had to board the plane.

Toby kept on kissing me, telling how much he'll miss me. That just made me cry. Then we made all these promises. My favorite one was that we'd always be there got each other. Even if we're together or not.

I looked away. It was about time to board. I sighed. Then Toby looked deep into my eyes and kissed me. Then he pulled out a small box.

He opened it and there was a little infinity ring. "Anna, this is for all our promises. For our time together. We may be young, but I know I want to be with you forever. Promise me you'll always be mine?" He said. I could tell me meant every word.

Tears started to fall down my face. I smile and nod uncontrollably. Toby then takes the ring, and put it in my ring finger. I couldn't take in what was happening. I just knew I loved Toby. But maybe this was too much...

I guess it's too late now. But if I have to, I'll call it off. We then start walking towards the plane. Our fingers were laced together. My heart sank once I got towards the door.

More tears were coming down my face. "Shhh, don't cry. It'll be ok. I promise after tour, I'll come and vibist you. Ok?" He asked. I smiled.

Then before I knew it. His lips were on mine. It was a long, meaningful kiss. I didn't want to end. It felt the the whole world disappeared. All there was, was me, him, and sparks.

I sadly ended the kiss. "I love you." I said. "I love you too, babe." Toby said. He looked like he was about to cry as well. I slowly walked away from Toby.

I handed the lady my ticket and passport. I went through the doors, not looking back. If I saw Toby again, I'd just burst into a million pieces.

I then got onto my plane and found my seat. I then looked at the ring a little more. I took it off and saw there was something engraved in it. It said "Our promise is forever". And with that I cried.

I managed to pick myself up after about three minutes. The plane was about to take off. I looked out the window. I couldn't see Toby anymore.

And worst of all, I had to go back to school.

*Connor's POV*

It was so weird to not have Anna around anymore. She was like my little sister!

I knew Toby was going to be back soon because he just told me Anna's plane took off.

He was going to be devastated. I could tell he really liked Anna. Wait, starch that- loves Anna.

I was on my phone checking twitter. Then Toby got on. He took a seat next to me and began crying.

He bus started to move. I got up slowly and walked towards Toby. I took and seat next to him and rubbed his back.

"Tob, it's ok. She loves you, you love her. I bet you too will see each other before you know it. The tour is pretty close to over." I said trying to calm him down.

I guess it worked because he moved his hand from his face and there were no more tears. I looked at his face all puffy. I felt so bad.

Then all of a sudden the bus can to another slam on the break. What the heck was happening?!
