Meeting Someone New (Toby McDonough/Before You Exit Love Story)

Chapter 12

*Toby's POV*

I saw two little kids tackled me. A boy and a girl. They were very cute. "ANNA!" They screamed.

Anna had a two little cousins. How cute. Anna picked them both up and gave them kisses. She'd be a wonderful mother.

"Jackson, Fiona, meet Toby." Anna greeted. They smiled. "Hi!" I said happily. "HI!" They screamed. Anna giggled. Then came another person and the two little kids came inside.

"UNCLE DANNY!" Anna screamed. "Hey, Anna." He laughed. Then he must of saw me. "Who's your "friend"?" He asked. "This is Toby, my boyfriend." She said while taking my hand.

I put out my free hand. "Nice to meet you, Mr. Peters." I said worriedly. He shook my hand and walked away. "Don't worry about him, he won't hurt you." Anna whispered. That made me feel a little better.

I took Anna's hand. She lead me out to the back where her whole family was. There were at least 30 people. Some of Anna's old friends an family were all there. This is nerve wracking.

Anna walked off and I meet some of her other guy friends. There was Josh and Alex. They're nice guys. Even though they threatened to kill me if I hurt Anna. If never do that.

*Anna's POV*

I was with Fiona and Jackson. They were both three. They had to be the cutest things ever. I love little kids.

"Anna?" Jackson asked. "Yes, sweetie?" I asked as I pushed him on the swing. "Is Toby your hubby?" He asked. I giggled. "No, no. He's my... He's my boyfriend." I smiled. "Then what are you?" He asked. "I'm his girlfriend. Now are you excited to start kindergarten?" I asked trying to change the subject.

With that Fiona ran off. It looked like she was running towards Josh and Alex. Then suddenly, two kids tackled me. "Really guys?!" I screamed. "YESS!" They yelled. They were two of the many cousins. Gus and Gwen, just two years younger than me.

"He's your boyfriend isn't he?" Gwen teased while point at Toby. I smiled and she took notice. "Guys, I'm tired. I'm gonna take a nap in your room, Kay?" I asked. "Sure!" They responded quickly.

I walked inside and up the steps to their bunk bed and passed out.

*Toby's POV*

I was right in the middle of telling Alex about Brazil until Fiona came. "Toby?" She said wide eyed. "Yes?" I laughed. I got down to eye level with her. "Is Anna your girlfriend?" She smiled. "Yes she is." I replied. It felt like a dream just saying that. After she just ran off.

"Well, if those kids know, then the whole family knows." Josh said. I smiled. "Perfect." I smiled. We went onto football now. It was nice being able to talk to someone other than my boys on tour.

Suddenly someone taps my shoulders. It's Anna's uncle Danny. Shit. "May I have a word?" He asked calmly actually. "Sure." I said plainly and followed him inside.

"Ok, listen here "pop star", Anna is like a daughter to me. So listen here, if you dare hurt her, I'll hunt you down and murder you. Being a cop has its privileges." He said angrily. Ten he just walked out. Then Anna came down from up stairs.

"Hello, beautiful." I said as I kissed her temple. "Oh shut up!" She giggled. Then her Aunt Natalia came in. "Dinner time, love birds!" She winked. She was really nice and funny.

I started to walk but Anna stood there. "I'm too tired to walk..." Anna whined. I laughed and let her get on my back. I carried her outside.

I sat her next to Josh and me. She was just perfect. I completely forgot my bothers were here. Connor was sitting next to one of Anna's cousins. They were... Cozy.

Finally dinner began. Then it all started..
