I started kindergarten almost half a year later than everyone else, so I was the new kid. I was an only child, so I didn't know how to act around other children and what was okay or not. Seriously, you have to know what's socially acceptable in Kindergarten? Wow.
I made a friend because she had the same name as me. She was trying to teach me how to swing. Because I was the only kid in my class who didn't know. There was a Indian girl in my class and she came over to try to help. When I fell off the swing, she called me disgusting and walked away with my friend. Later, I found out that my only friend in K, was sort of related to me through my cousin.
Anyway, I don't know why, but I always wanted to be friends with the people who absolutely hated me. So I tried to be friends with the Indian girl. She kicked me really hard and told me to stop talking to her. I went to tell the teacher, but I forgot her name. So while she was just standing there, I was tugging at her shirt, in front of the Indian girl, and she didn't notice me. So I didn't get to tell and I got laughed at even more.
I remember one specific time that I sneezed and a bunch of snot came out. I didn't get a tissue in time so the Indian girl pointed it out to everyone else before I could clean it up.
Another time, my teenage cousin gave me a mini chapstick that had the Backstreet Boys on them. Someone stole it.
Icouldn't make friends with the girls, so I tried to make friends with the guys. I sat with a couple of them during lunch and I was trying to be funny. They looked at me, told me I wasn't funny, and moved to a different table. So, Kindergarten was lonely.
