Chapter Two

Sean's POV:

     Everyone came around eight-fifteen and we hung out for a bit. Everyone was on their phone the whole time too. 

"You guys are so boring. Let's watch a scary movie." Gabe speaks up, but makes eye contact with me. I know what he's trying to do, trying to set me up with Alex. 

"Yeah let's do that." Tati agrees. "Scariest one ya got Sean." 

"Hm.." I look into the drawer of movies I have. "The Exorcist is scary. Like legit scary." 

"Do we really need to watch a scary movie?" Bailey and Soni say at the same time. 

"YES." Everyone else looks at them. I notice Alex in the corner, she's just staring at her phone. She was pretty quiet, usually she's the loud one. 

"Alex are you okay?" I sit next to her and look into her eyes. 

"I'm fine. I guess I'm just tired that's all." She tries hiding her feelings. She's good at it, but deep inside she's not fine. I see it in her eyes, when she's physically faking a smile. 

"You know I'm here if you ever need to talk or be your shoulder to cry on." I put my arm around her and give a little hug. I hate when she doesn't tell me what's wrong. 

"I know Sean. Thanks." Alex puts her head on my shoulder. Kenneth says she likes me.

Should I tell her I like her? Or would that ruin everything? I thought. 

     Suddenly, her phone rings. It's Mike, gross. We really don't like him. There is something shady about him. 

"Hey.." She says. "Look, I really don't wanna talk to you right now." Alex sighs. I can hear Mike through the phone. I can't make out what he's saying but I know it really isn't good by the way Alex is talking to him. 

"Mike, I'll talk to you later. I'm spending time with my friends. I really don't have time to argue with you right now." Alex hangs up and sighs. 

"Losers in the corner, get over here." Kenneth calls us over. Alex laughs and attacks Kenneth. It's better to see her smiling than seeing her sad. 

      I got a bunch of blankets and Gabe helped me with snacks. Gabe, Tati, Kenneth, and Josh sat on the couch while Tati, Will, me, and Alex sat on floor. Then Soni and Bailey sharing the two seater couch. Weird seating right? 

     About thirty minutes into the movie, everyone was freaking out. The silence parts were most anticipating. I've seen this movie so many times and I don't get as scared. I look behind me and see Josh and Kenneth hugging each other. Gabe was holding onto Tati even she wasn't scared. I look over to my right and Bailey covering Soni's eyes and Soni covering Bailey's. Will was just sitting there waiting for something exciting. And then Alex. Oh poor Alex stress eats when she gets scared. She puts the bowl down and waits... The scary part came and she jumped and held onto my arm. More and more scary parts happened and she was just getting closer and closer. 

"MAN WHAT THE ACTUAL FUDGE BALLS. THIS CHIZ SCARY." Alex holds on closer. 

     We decided to watch The Visit. Everyone switched their spots and Alex was holding onto me for her dear life. It was now, Bailey and Kenneth, Gabe and Tati, and Josh and Soni including me and Alex. Poor Will sat with food. But food is his life. 

Alex's POV:

     So yeah, I may like Sean. But having a boyfriend means he's gonna get jealous and Mike hates when I hang out with the guys. When he saw my post with Gabe and Sean, he got jealous. I even said DON'T TAKE THE DAMN CAPTION SERIOUSLY. Like can guys not read? Why are they so stupid sometimes?
