Willow was doing well. She fell asleep quickly that night because she was so exhausted.

Jake, on the other hand, couldn't sleep. He was restless in the uncomfortable hospital bed. His parents and willow's parents were asleep. Everything was quiet.

Around 2:30, Willow had a nightmare. She jerked up swiftly. It startled Jake and he looked over to her. He sat up and leaned his leafs over the bed. "Willow," he whispered, "is everything okay?"

She nodded. "Umm, yeah.. Just a nightmare.."

"You gonna go back to bed?"

She only looked at him. He understood. "Well then, care for a stroll?"

He stood. She slowly got out of bed and took his hand. They walked down the hall and onto the balcony on that floor. They stood near the edge. "So what was your nightmare about?"

Willow stared out over the city. "Them..."

"Oh.. I get those too."

"Is that why you refused to sleep?"

Jake nodded. Willow leaned on his shoulder. They didn't talk anymore. They just stood, watching the city. They brought some chairs up and eventually talked until the sunrise. They talked about childhood memories and the future even. He wanted to be a doctor someday. She wanted to work with children.

They didn't realize the time until Tony came out to find them. He woke up before anyone else and notice them missing.

He came up behind them and eavesdropped on their conversation for a while.

They were just beginning to change subjects. Willow looked towards the horizon. "The sunrise is beautiful from this view..."

"Yeah..." Jake looked over at Willow and smiled. She looked back and kinda smiled. "What?"

"I really enjoyed spending time with you this morning, Willow..."

"Me too..."

Jake sighed. "I wish it was like this more often."

Willow was confused. He explained "not being in the hospital. But just you and me talking and not having to deal with responsibilities or..." He was about to say parents, but he noticed Tony.

"Oh. Mr. DiNozzo. Good morning."

Willow turned around. "Oh, hey dad."

Tony stepped forward a bit. He had a disapproving look. "How long have you two been out here?"

"Umm... What time is it?" Willow looked at Jake.

He glanced at his watch. "6:30"

"About four hours."

Tony glared at her. "And you spent that time doing what exactly?"

"Talking," Willow shrugged her shoulders. "It's not that big of a deal. We just talked."

"For four hours???"

"Yes."

Tony grit his teeth. "Okay then. I think it's about time to head back then." Tony touched willow's bare arm. "Your freezing!"

Willow felt her own skin. "I hadn't noticed..."

Jake smirked. He walked behind them as they walked inside. Tony got a blanket from one of the carts on the side of the hall and wrapped it around willow. He walked her back to the room and made her get in bed. Everyone else was up and questioning where they had gone.

Jake sat on his bed. His parents were questioning him, too. He just told them he went for a walk.

Ziva wasn't very happy that she went alone with Jake in the middle of the night. Willow don't see what the big deal was, however. Andy stayed the night with Abby. The doctor's said that they all could go home that day, though.

Jake was happy to get out. The parents went to sign them out while Jake and Willow got ready to leave.

"Hey, Willow..."

She looked up at him. "Yeah?"

"If you have any more nightmares... Just give me a call. I am always there to talk... If you want."

Willow half smiled. "Thanks... I really do appreciate it..."

He smiled. They both stood up and Jake began to leave. He stopped next to her, leaned over, and kissed her cheek. Then he winked and was gone.

Willow sat back down on the bed. She stared at the wall, comprehending what happened. Ever since Mike, she was always scared to do anything with guys. Jake was the only guy she had gone out with since then. Could she really, truly trust him?
