Willow walked into the house. She just got back from telling Jake the news. Tony and ziva were already home. It had been three hours, though.
They were at the dinner table, eating dinner. Willow walked in and grabbed a Plate of food.
"Where were you?" Ziva asked.
"I was at jake's..." Willow said without looking up.
"How is he?"
"He's fine..."
Tony could sense the difference. He watched willow for a bit. "Are you okay, willow? You seem like there's something you want to tell us."
Willow glanced at Andy. He motioned for her to say it. She looked back at them. "Later.. can we just eat for now? How was YOUR day, andy?"
Andy slightly smiled. "I asked Cleo out for pizza friday and she said yes..."
Ziva smiled. "Oh, that's great, honey."
Andy smirked at willow. She glared back. An unspoken, yet understood, conversation.
Later on, willow found Tony and ziva in their room, talking. She knocked on the door and opened it when they said she could come in.
"Hey... can we talk?"
They all went to the living room and sat on the couches. When everyone was settled, willow spoke.
"So... I have good and bad news. What do you want first?"
Ziva looked at tony, a bit worried. "Let's go with good news."
"Okay," Willow smiled. "Jake and I are engaged." She showed them the ring.
Ziva squealed and looked at it. "Really? Oh that's amazing! I was wondering when he'd do it!"
Tony smiled. "Jake's a good guy."
Willow's smiled faded. "I wouldn't say that yet, dad. I'm pretty sure you will want to kill him in thirty seconds or less..."
Tony was confused. Ziva pushed on. "The bad news?"
Willow nodded. "I'm pregnant..."
At that moment, a tension so thick fell on the room. Tony stared at willow, hoping this was all a horrible practical joke.
"You're right... I'm gonna kill him."
Ziva put a hand on tony's leg. She took a deep breath, keeping calm. "How?"
"I'm guessing you mean when," Willow said. "Because I'm pretty sure I don't have to explain how and"
"Willow!"
"Sorry... you know how I was out like all night on my birthday?"
Ziva put her head down, for seeing where this is going.
"Well, it wasn't his fault, but we got drunk and crazy and... I'm regretting it..."
Willow bit her lip and waited for her parents to process all this.
Tony remained quiet. He got quiet when he got mad. Ziva talking things out as much as possible.
"You told andy?"
"You know he'd be the first I would tell..."
Ziva sighed. She ran her fingers through her hair. "You know... this is the end of Life as We Know It"
~~~~~
Two days later
~~~~~
Tony still had barely said a word for the last two days. He seemed to be so mad and if he spoke, it wasn't to willow.
Willow, on the other hand, was going through a lot of emotions now, and ziva understood and tried to stay calm with her.
Willow also remained home most of the time. She drove Andy to school, and that was about it. Then she disappeared to her room.
But today, she needed to go to the store. She went downstairs and looked around for the keys.
She went to the living room. Tony was holding the keys, headed outside.
"Oh, dad. I need to go to the store, can I have the keys?"
Tony glanced at her. He didn't maintain eye contact though. "I'm going out."
"Can I come along then?"
Tony shrugged his shoulders. "Sure."
She rolled her eyes at his attitude and went to the car. It was a quiet ride, until willow tried to make conversation.
"So Jake and I thought we would do the wedding soon... it's not as horrible then..."
Tony only clenched his teeth. Willow saw his muscled tense. She glared at him. "Is that sounding like a good idea?"
Tony slightly nodded his head. Willow felt herself ready to blow up. "Why do you hate me all of the sudden?! I already explained that it was a stupid accident!!"
After willow started yelling, so did Tony. "I don't know what you want me to say! 'Oh yeah everything just fine!'? Because it's not, willow! You're pregnant! Most couples that get pregnant before they're married don't last. I don't want you to go through that pain."
Willow leaned back in her seat. She could feel hot, angry tears in the bottom of her eyes. "You don't think I know that?" She asked softly.
Tony sighed, calming himself. He glanced over at willow. "Listen, I'm not going to sugar coat it like your mom... it's going to be hard. And I'm not approving or moving on, I'm simply accepting that it happened. You can't change the past, but you can change your future. I believe that you and Jake will work out. He's a mostly good young man and you're an amazing, beautiful, smart, and talented young woman. But I want you to know that no matter how hard it gets, I'll always be here for you."
Willow was shocked. That was the most he had said all week. She leaned back and took it all in.
"Thanks, dad..."
They rode in silence for a few more minutes. Then Tony glanced over and asked,
"So what's the plan for the wedding?"
