Three and a half years later
#######
Willow sniffled as she sipped her tea. She was sick and was waiting for results from the doctor on her blood and urine samples.
The phone rang and she answered immediately.
"Hello?" She said through a stuffed nose.
"Miss DiNozzo? This is doctor Amsbury."
"Oh, hello, doctor."
"I have your test results back, but I'd like to talk to you about them. Do you think you could come down later today. Maybe noon?"
"Uh, sure. Is everything all right?"
"Everything is fine. Just a few details to discuss."
"Alright. I'll see you at noon."
Willow hung up and stared, confused, at the rain. Why couldn't the doctor tell her over the phone?
Since she was now 21, she had to schedule her own doctor's appointment. That was the worst part of being an adult.
When noon came around, she drove to the doctor's office. The doctor had made time for her, so she was ready. Doctor Amsbury took willow back to a room. It had a desk, two chairs, and a couch. The doctor sat on the couch and invited willow to sit beside her.
"So your test results are interesting. The sickness is a simple cold, any over the counter medicine will do the trick. But there was something else..."
Willow sat and looked at the doctor seriously. "What is it?"
"Look, I don't know how to say it, so I'm going to say it plainly... you're pregnant."
Willow stared at the doctor. "Pregnant!? No! That's not possible! This can't be happening to me!!!"
"Well, it is the truth. We ran the tests twice to make sure."
Willow was in shock. Her face crinkled as she thought about it. There was only one possible father, of course. Jake. He was the only one she was ever close enough to.
The doctor put a hand on her arm. "I understand this might be a lot to take in. Take all the time you need. But I would like to schedule some appointments with you to keep on top of things."
"I can't have a baby! Oh my gosh!" She was not happy. Willow felt tears burning in her eyes. "This can't be happening!"
"Here's your next appointment. Do you need me to call you a cab?"
Willow shook her head. "No... I'll be fine." She couldn't believe it.
~~~
Willow walked through the front door. She had picked up some cold medicine on the way home. She set the bag down on the counter and stared. She couldn't believe this.
Since she lived with her parents still, she was walked in on all the time. So she wasn't surprised when Andy walked in, home from school.
He was 14 now. They were super close, since willow had practically raised him. They told each other everything. He came over to the counter and set his bag down.
"Hey, willow. How ya feeling?"
"I'm fine!" She said, angry.
"Whoaaa, calm down, sis."
Willow sighed. "Sorry... I'm fine. How was your day?"
"I think I'd rather hear about yours..."
