Just in Time

Willow was in some underground prison looking thing. From what she could understand, it was underneath the old house. She lay in a little ball, sobbing. She wasn't too hurt, but was stripped of almost all her clothes, and it was freezing outside. She noticed her fingertips already turning blue. She could imagine that her lips were also a bluish color.

The horrors she had experienced in the last thirty minutes were horrible. The man had only become aggressive twice. But even then, it left her with a bloody nose and a black eye. She wasn't crying much from the pain, as to the whole thing.

The room was dirty and she was freezing. It was empty except for a small, lonely, wooden stool that was short and wouldn't provide very much of a comfortable position. Willow assumed that that was why it was in here. It looked like a prison cell that she was in. A gate of bars, like a cell, was the only thing that she could see out of. But the only thing she could see through the darkness was a moldy wall across the hall.

All she could do was lie and hope for rescue.

Meanwhile, the NCIS gang were on their way. Jake demanded that he ride along in the back. They let him ride in the car in the very back, with a few extra agents who were there to help. It wasn't long until they got to the house.

Gibbs led in the large group of agents. He kicked down the door and they rushed in, filling the room. There was a man sitting at a desk, facing away from the door. The only light came from the setting sun outside the windows and a small fire. Gibbs stepped a few steps closer.

"Hey!"

The man didn't respond. Gibbs walked up a little further. He saw blood. He grabbed the man's shoulder and pushed him back, revealing a gunshot in his head and a gun in his hand. There was a letter on the desk in front of him. It had a few drops of blood on it.

Gibbs looked back at the agents. Tony understood. He turned to Ziva. "Go get Jake."

Gibbs picked up the letter and read. Tony read over his shoulder. As soon as they read, Gibbs looked at Tony. Tony clenched his jaw tight. He was balling his hand into a fist. He was angry and upset, probably.

Tony stared at the writing. Ziva came up and read it. She gasped and covered her mouth. Jake ran in behind her. He stared at the man. Everyone looked at him. He stared at the dead body and said, "That's him... that's my dad..."

Ziva took the letter and Tony went to stop her. "No, Tony. It says clearly that it is for him..."

Tony reluctantly let Ziva give the letter to Jake. He read it. As he did, his eyes began to fill with tears. Angry tears.

Jake,

I was going to wait until we could reconcile, but it seems I have ruined any chance of that... I messed up. I didn't mean to hurt her so much. She was just so pretty and vulnerable at the moment and.. you should know that I raped her. I know that it was wrong and that is why we can never be together again. Without you, my life is nothing, so let me just say... Goodbye...

Your father, Sam

Jake stared at the letter for a moment longer. The words I raped her  stuck in his mind. He crumpled the letter and threw it into the fire, yelling while doing it. Ziva touched his shoulder. He looked at her. They were both caught off guard and upset by this news.

McGee stuck his head in the room. "Sorry to ruin the mood, but we found a staircase. We think she's down there."

Everyone turned their attention to finding Willow. When they went down the stairs, there were so many hallways. It would take them all night to go through all of them. But they had to start somewhere. They decided it was safer to travel in pairs. They had enough teams to go in half the hallways.

Tony and Ziva went together. McGee and Jake went in another tunnel. Gibbs and an agent went. Then there was one more team of agents. It took about fifty minutes for them to come back empty, so they went down the other half, but it was getting late and people were getting tired.

Brandon and McGee were about halfway down the hallway when they saw her. The cell was the only one closed. McGee radioed and they ran into the cell to the bare body. Willow was practically frozen.

Brandon took off his jacket and put it on her small body. It covered her whole body because of the position she was lying in. He sat her up and leaned her onto himself.

She barely moved her head and whispered something. She barely moved her lips, so he couldn't really make it out. He rubbed her arms to try to warm her up.

"Tell them to hurry!" He said to McGee in a low, worried voice. It would be another fifty minutes or so because they were so far in the tunnel. McGee and Brandon both knew that was too long to wait.

So they covered her with any clothes they could spare. She was warm enough to stumble eventually. So they stood her up and tried to help her walk out. But it wasn't long until she couldn't do it anymore.

Brandon was sick of all this. He picked up Willow, not caring how tired he was. He began to jog out of the tunnel. McGee was right behind him. It was about a five minute jog. But it drained Jake's energy so quickly. All he needed for a boost was to look at the shivering, helpless girl in his arms.

Tony and Ziva ran to them. Tony was taking his jacket off as soon as he saw them jogging up. Jake practically dropped her into Tony's arms as Tony prepared to take her. He was exhausted. Tony ran the rest of the way out and Jake walked. There was nothing he could do now, and he was exhausted.

Tony got her in the car. Ziva ran up behind him and they hopped in the car. Brandon made it to them right before they pulled off and jumped into the back. He again began rubbing Willow's arms and back to warm her up with friction.

Tony sped down the highway to the hospital. Willow opened her eyes a little. She felt herself getting warmer. But she was still so cold.

Even though she was rescued, there was still a long fight ahead. But if they had come a few minutes later, she could be dead. They came Just In Time.
