"I can't believe you did that!!! You're - like - gonna be a legend!"
Willow rolled her eyes. Some idiot sophomore was trying to be 'cool' and talk to her about how she completely killed Sawyers ego in front of at least twenty people.
Sawyer was the brattiest teenager ever. She was a junior, as was Willow. She had made some stupid remark and willow responded. That turned into an epic battle of rude remarks until willow won.
The whole school was buzzing about it. When the last bell rang, the halls were full of kids. Lots were cornering Sawyer to see what she would do next.
Sawyer was getting so annoyed by this. She saw Willow walking with Jake. That made it even more amazing. Jake was her ex.
Sawyer marched over and shoved willow away from Jake. The crowd separated the two even further. Now it was Willow on Sawyer. No one else, except for the mob surrounding them.
"What the heck, Sawyer?"
Sawyer smirked. "Cmon? Afraid of a little fight?"
"I'm not. However, I'd be careful if I were you. Don't want to break a nail,"she said in a mocking tone.
Sawyer was angry. Someone yelled out to 'sic her' and Sawyer took that advice. She threw herself onto Willow.
Willow could barely keep in the laughter. Besides being pushed back a little, there was no effect from Sawyer. She pushed once and Sawyer backed up several steps.
"It's a good thing you attacked me first," Willow said. Then she let her anger and emotions take over. She launched into a full out cat fight with Sawyer.
It took a few moments to knock Sawyer nearly unconscious. The only reason she wasn't completely out was because Jake pried Willow off of her.
Before any teachers could come out, Jake rushed Willow out. She'd be in so much trouble. He shoved people out of the way, pulling Willow along out of the school. He stopped a few minutes walk away and they sat on a bench.
"Really?" He asked.
"I'm sorry... you know I don't do well in high pressure situations..."
"Willow, you can't always use that excuse."
"I don't know... it's like ever since the whole kidnapped thing, I feel so... vulnerable. And acting tough is the only way to loosen up some..."
She looked at Jake with sad eyes. "Please dont tell my mom. She'd kill me. This is like my fifth fight this month..."
Jake sighed. "Fine. If you try to calm yourself."
Willow sighed. "I'll try... it's just.. with the nightmares and all. Plus I only have like you to talk to. that's putting a lot on you."
Willow hadn't told her parents, but she had some pretty bad nightmares.
"It's been six months today. You're still having nightmares?"
Willow nodded. "They scare me. I can't help it.."
She leaned into Jake. He wrapped his arms around her. "Well, if you're so worried, don't be afraid to call me in the middle of the night and I'll come. I promise I won't leave you stranded."
She smiled. "Thanks... however, I may just have to take you up on that offer."
They headed back to the school, where the chaos had died down enough for them to go to their lockers and get their things.
Then Jake drove them to Willow's house. He dropped her off and reminded her that she could call him and then drove home.
She did her homework and normal after-school activities. The clock turned too fast for her. By the time it was 10:30, her ever-so-strict parents were wondering why she was still up.
Tony and ziva weren't too strict. Only when it came usually to eating and bed time and what not. Ziva knocked on willow's door and didn't wait for a response. She opened the door and saw her on her bed on her laptop.
"Willow, you've got school tomorrow. Go to sleep."
Willow bit her lip. She knew this would happen. Rather than fighting, she just quietly said, "okay," and proceeded to prepare for bed.
"How was school, by the way? We didn't talk much today."
"It was fine... look, mom, you're right. I need to sleep. Good night." She kissed her mother's cheek, then closed the door.
At least she wouldn't have to tell her about the incident with Sawyer.
