"I missed you too."

With a gasp, Olivia Queen opens her eyes, looking right at Lion, who fell asleep on her pillow again last night.

Her books are strewn all over the floor, where she tossed them off her bed after reading them the night before. When she stands up, she slips on the picture Bible. But Bridget's rubbing off on her, and she gets right back up without slowing down. She runs out the door and down the hall to her parent's room. Even with their "night job," they should be back by now.

Normally, Olivia's mommy doesn't like to be woken up, but she won't be mad at Olivia when she hears what she has to say.

"Mommy! Daddy! Wake up!" She cries, throwing the door to their room open and jumping on their bed.

Dinah Lance-Queen moans, tossing a pillow at Olivia.

"Sweetheart, it's five in the morning." Oliver Queen sits up and pulls his daughter into his arms, confused by her wide grin.

"Mommy, Daddy, she's home!"

"Believe it or not, I missed you and your Taylor Swift music playing at full volume with the top down."

"Oh really?" I grinned at Willow from the driver's seat. She was sitting shotgun next to me, wearing her glasses on shade-mode. It was summer, and the sun was already up. Because we were both slightly claustrophobic, and because it was summer and it was already a whooping eighty degrees Fahrenheit  in Star City, California, I had the top down. Just two cool rich girls, out for a drive in an expensive car.

"Is this new?" She'd asked when she first got in.

"Yeah, Just got it for my birthday."

"Thought so, it smells newer. And it doesn't quite have your cat's signature scent yet."

For the rest of the drive, we'd joked about stupid things we'd done in my old Maserati, and what each froyo stain in Willow's bug meant. Even with our conversation, I had Taylor's "Fearless" album at nearly full volume. Most of the drive was interstate anyway, so it wasn't like we were disturbing anyone.

I shut off the music when we turned onto the Queen's drive. Oliver and Dinah had a nice house in the city, but this was Willow's favorite house, the one she'd first stayed in with them. It was about five miles out of Star City, with it's own private drive, but it was a modest, country-looking home.

"You sure they're here on weekends?"

"Sheesh, Em. I lived with them for five years. I know they're here!" She scolded me, slamming the door after her.

I parked in front of the porch, and climbed out. Willow just stood there, staring up at the house.

"Want me to knock?" I asked.

She shook her head after I knocked her out of her trance. "No. This is something that I have to do."

I took her hand and smiled at her. Then, together, we marched up to the door.

There was a clattering from deep within the house. So there was someone, there, awake, probably making breakfast.

Willow took a deep breath, and raised her hand, about to knock, when the door opened. Already responding to her unasked request.
