What True Love Really Feels Like

  As I saw Lady Malrin and Tauriel leave, I wondered what they were going to talk about. They never really had an interaction, but Lady Malrin probably was talking to her about the wedding.

  I was truly happy about the wedding, and I was happy for Tauriel and Lhindir, but I still had this little part of me not wanting them together.

  Tauriel was congratulating me on our wedding, so I don't think she still had feelings for me. I waited until I saw both of them come back. Tauriel looked confused, so I came up and asked her, "What did she want you for?"

  "Nothing important. Have you seen Lhindir?" She asked, looking around the room.

  I shook my head, and watched her leave. I watched as her long auburn hair flounced as she walked. I missed that, but I had a beautiful Elleth with me, who will soon become my wife.

  Later in the evening, I was walking down the hall, when I accidentally bumped into someone.

  "Sorry," I apologized, and looked at who I bumped into.

  "It's ok," Tauriel muttered. I was about to leave, when she blurted, "Legolas, wait. Can I talk to you quickly? If that's okay."

  "Sure," I answered, coming closer to her.

  "Are-are we still friends?" She asked looking down at the floor.

  I was dumbfounded at the question. Of course we are! Why would she think that? Then, we did ignore each other for awhile, and acted like we didn't know each other.

  "Yeah," I finally responded. "Why would you say that?"

  "I don't know, I was just wondering." She muttered again, and left. She was still looking at the floor.

  Was something wrong with her? She'll probably say "nothing", and I shouldn't force her, so I stayed silent.

  Today was the wedding day, and from what it sounded like, everyone was exhilarated, even I.

  I wore the same silver circlet and attire as I did at the feast, because I didn't think it would be bad to wear it again. Besides, it was pretty fancy, so I think I could pull it off.

  I didn't know what Lady Malrin looked like now, but she was probably just as beautiful as she is.

  "I'm proud of you, my son," Ada smiled. "You finally let your feelings for that Silvan elf go by, and you're now getting married to Lady Malrin! This will bring both kingdoms together, which will make us superior."

  He clasped his hands, and grinned at me the way he did when he told me I was betrothed to her.

  I smiled at him, but was torn at his comment on Tauriel. I didn't exactly let my feelings for her go by, I just took an interest in Lady Malrin, and let my feelings for Tauriel vaguely show.

  It was almost the wedding, as I stood in front of many rows of columns of chairs, which will soon be seated by everyone in the kingdom. I was surprised by how many there were.

  Awhile later, the seats started to be filled. I kept an eye for Tauriel and Lhindir, since they'll probably sit together, but to my surprise, I saw Lhindir sit on one side, and Tauriel on the other. What happened to them?

  I gazed at Tauriel. She looked the same, except she wore the same dress at the feast. She glanced at everyone except me and towards Lhindir's direction.

  Once everyone was seated, it began. I was breathing heavily, but I don't think anyone noticed. Finally, I saw Lady Malrin walk down the aisle. She wore a white gown that had white embellishments on it, and a silver circlet, one that I hadn't seen.

  She was smiling at me, as I smiled back.

  Then, the officiant started his speech.

  "Welcome everyone, and thank you all for coming to this special day. Today, we will see these two form a forever loving life together, and become a loving family."

  Everyone clapped, until the officiant asked, "Does anyone object of this marriage?"

  Everyone was silent, until one stood up, and said bold and clear, "I object of this marriage."
