"Do you take Legolas Thranduilion Greenleaf as your beloved husband?"
"Yes," Tauriel smiled.
"Do you take Tauriel as your beloved wife?"
"Yes," Legolas repeated, staring at Tauriel.
"You may kiss the bride!" The officiant said, looking at them now.
They both leaned in and kissed, as everyone of Mirkwod cheered and clapped, even King Thranduil. He smiled as his son grinned at his new wife, Tauriel.
No more Lady Malrin nonsense, nor Lhindir problems. Lhindir hasn't found much luck with an Elleth, ever since Tauriel caught him cheating, and Lady Malrin was doing her own mishaps in Rivnedell, not planning on coming back to Mirkwood.
"Amin mela lle," Legolas whispered to Tauriel, as they walked down the aisle, hand in hand.
"I love you too, melamin," Tauriel replied.
Tauriel still remained captain of guard, still training and hunting, like she did before. Legolas still remained fighting alongside with her, not having to worry anymore.
"That rose still looks beautiful, but it looks like it's coming to an end," Tauriel mentioned, looking at the rose she gave him a long time ago.
"Yes," Legolas agreed.
"We would have to get a new one then," She looked at Legolas, waiting for an answer.
"Or we could treasure it as a memory. There is only one rose like that, and we couldn't replace it, or it'll not feel the same," He commented.
"True," She rested her head on his shoulder.
"You know I love you, and I'll remember how you brought that to me, even if we do have to put it away."
"I know. I love you too."
Even though it took awhile for each other to learn what true love was, it ended with a happily ever after, even if it's not a fairytale. It's what true love really feels like that makes it a happily ever after, and they seemed to have found it.
