Legolas
After the whole commotion, I walked down and towards Tauriel, and did the shocking that I don't think anyone expected would ever happen at a wedding.
I kissed her on the lips, full of passion now. This time she didn't pull back quickly, but stayed still as I wrapped my arms around her waist.
We finally broke apart, and I looked at her in the eye. She was the one I really wanted. Not Lady Malrin, nor any other Elleth, but her.
"My Lord," She started to say, looking at me.
"Stop calling me titles," I whispered, and smirked.
"Legolas," She smiled back, and pulled me in for another kiss. I could hear clapping and cheering, but I also heard Lady Malrin screaming her head off.
"Banish her! Lock her in the cell! She doesn't deserve to be here!" She shrieked. I never heard her this mad before, but I guess it's her true self.
"Lady Malrin," I pulled apart from Tauriel. "You aren't any ruler here, so it's you who shouldn't be here."
"Lle wethrine amin Saurarea," She sneered, glaring at everyone, and left with the guards, who lead her to the entrance.
Everyone was shocked at her cruelty, but as long as she was gone, I would be happy. I looked at Tauriel, who was shocked as well.
"I never knew she would be that harsh," she whispered.
I chuckled lightly, then pulled her in for another kiss. We broke apart, smiling at each other.
"I never want this to end," she grinned, still wrapping her hands around my neck.
"It doesn't have to be," I responded, looking her into the eye, my arms still wrapped around her waist.
"What do you mean?" I let go of her waist, then bent down on one knee.
Everyone gawked at the scene, even Ada.
"Tauriel," I said. "will you do the honors of marrying me?" I pulled out the necklace she gave me, and held it in front of us.
She was completely silent, just staring at the necklace. Her expression changed from happy to nothing.
"Legolas," She whispered. "I told you to give that to someone who deserves it."
"I know. You deserve it, and you deserve to be with me. Will you marry me?" I repeated.
She took a big sigh, and glanced at Ada. I looked over too, and saw him with a neutral expression.
"Legolas," Tauriel caught my attention back to her. "I don't know what to say."
My heart dropped again. Did that mean no? I stood up now, still holding the necklace in my hands and said, "If you meant no, all will be well."
It was half true, but I still couldn't think of how Tauriel would say no.
She let out a big sigh and smiled weakly, and took my hands in hers.
I smiled back weakly, and handed over the necklace.
"You still deserve it, Melleth nin."
Poor Leggy!😭 Don't worry, it's not the end yet, so maybe something will happen...In case you didn't know what Lady Malrin said in Elvish, it was an insult (I combined some words to make a sentence/insult, so if I find it, I'll be sure to put it in). Hope you enjoyed this chapter, and stay tuned for more! Xx
