Ch 1 Return to School

The days went by, Jaden and Alexis had to return to Duel Academy for the next school year. Jaden had been in the happiest mood since the wedding but who could blame him. He was married to the most beautiful girl at the school and nothing was going to stop him from enjoying that. Jaden and Alexis got onto a boat that was taking them back to Duel Academy Island.

They arrived an hour later and were happy to be back. They were ready to get back into dueling after a summer spent honeymooning. They had traveled around the world and had seen what the world had to offer. They got off the boat and Jaden said "I am excited to be back." Alexis said "yea, it is great to be back especially as a married couple." Jaden just smiled and gave Alexis a passionate kiss. They stopped after their friends started to stare. Jaden said "hey guys, I hope you all had a great summer." Jasmine said "yea we did, but not as much as you two did." Alexis grabbed Jaden's hand and said "yes we did and we have pictures of everywhere we went."

Chazz, Jasmine, Syrus, and Mindy were happy to see the pictures and afterward they all decided to stop talking and let the couple be together. Jaden and Alexis went to the Slifer Cliff and talked about the future. Jaden said "what do you want to do today?" Alexis said "I want to watch you duel and use the  cards that Kaiba gave you on our wedding day." Jaden smiled and said "I would love to duel someone and show off the new cards that I got."

Soon after Jaden and Alexis got back, a man landed on the island. He was planning to duel the best duelist on this island. The man said to himself "I have come for you Jaden. I will take you down and be the number one duelist in the world."

Jaden and Alexis were still at the cliff when the man showed up and said "Jaden Yuki, I challenge you to a duel and this duel will decide whether or not I am to be the number one duelist in the world." Jaden said "ok, but before we due, I want to know your name?" The man said "I am Nick and I have come to take what is rightfully mine." Jaden and Nick started their duel disks and they both said "duel." Nick said "I will start this off, I draw, I play Polymerization to fuse Red Eyes Black Dragon and Summoned Skull to play  Black Skull Dragon (3200atk) and I play one face down and end my turn." Jaden said "my turn, I draw, I play my own Polymerization to fuse my three Blue Eyes White Dragons to play Blue Eyes Ultimate dragon (4500atk)."

Jaden smiled and said "destroy his Dragon." Black Skull Dragon was destroyed and Nick took 1300 points of damage. Jaden ended his turn and Nick said "my turn, I draw, I play Monster Reborn to bring back my Black Skull Dragon. Now I equip him with Megamorph. Now that my monster is equipped with Megamorph my monster's attack doubles. Now, Black Skull Dragon attack." Jaden said "I play the quick play spell card De-fusion to separate my one dragon back into three dragons. Now your attack is no more." Nick said "I throw down two face downs and play Future Fusion to summon, in two turns, Five Headed Dragon (5000atk) ."

Jaden said "my turn, my draw. I play polymerization again to fuse my three Blue Eyes to again summon the Ultimate Blue Eyes. I now play the spell card Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy your Megamorph. Now, Blue Eyes attack." Blue Eyes destroyed Black Skull Dragon and lost another 1300 life points and Jaden ended his turn. Nick said "my turn, I draw. I play the spell card Turn Jump. Now we skip three turns ahead and now my Five Headed Dragon comes forth. I demand Five Headed Dragon to destroy the Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon." Blue Eyes was destroyed and Jaden lost 500 life points and Nick ended his turn. Jaden said "my turn, I draw. I play Pot of Greed to draw two cards and now I play Offerings to the Doomed to destroy your Five Headed Dragon." Nick said "NO, not my dragon." Jaden then said "I will play another Pot of Greed and I summon Elemental Hero Sparkman. Now, Sparkman, attack Nick directly and end this duel."

Nick yelled as his life points hit zero. Jaden said "that's game." Nick fell to the ground and was angry that he had lost. Nick said "how did you get the Blue Eyes White Dragons from Kaiba?" Jaden said "I was given them by Kaiba on my wedding day." Nick said "so, who was the one that you got married to?" Alexis walked up to Jaden and kissed him and now Nick realized  who the girl was. Nick said "Jaden, I am sorry for trying to take your title, I just wanted to still be a great duelist but I was only fooling myself." Jaden said "you're a great duelist, so just continue to practice and then you might be able to beat me some day." Nick smiled and said "I think that I will take my leave. Jaden, I need to tell you that someone is hunting you down and wants to ruin your life."

Jaden said "who is this person that is looking for me?" Nick said "I can't tell you his real name but I will give you his initials. His initials are AP. So be on your guard, because I want to beat you someday but first I need to grow stronger. I hope that you can defeat him because he is also an undefeated duelist." With that Nick left and Jaden and Alexis talked.

Alexis said "I love you. You are Mister Popular, but you are mine and mine alone, so remember that." Jaden smiled and said "I love you too. I want to be with you forever and I will always be there to save you." So Jaden and Alexis made their way to the main arena to see if someone was dueling. They made it in time to see Syrus use Power Bond to seal Chazz's fate. Chazz fell down to the ground and stayed down for a few moments. Chazz got up and his face was so red that his head looked like a tomato.

Jaden congratulated Syrus on his win. Crowler, the newly appointed principal standing in for Shepard, saw the duel and he decided to promote Syrus to Ra yellow. Jaden and Alexis gave Syrus a hug and Bastion congratulated Syrus on being put into Ra yellow. So they all decided to go back to the Slifer Dorm to have a little party for Syrus. After the party ended they all went to bed to prepare for the next evil that would come to this school.
