Yu-gi-oh! GX Jaden and his love volume 2

Ch 8 Field Trip

Jaden awoke the next day and immediately got ready, for a big day had come to this school. They were going on a field trip to Domino City, the place where the Battle City Tournament had taken place. It was also the home of Yugi Moto and the city where Seto Kaiba's company resided. Jaden and the rest of the gang came out of the Slifer dorm. They saw Chazz, who was saying that he had seen the light and that all of them would bask in the glory of the light. All of the gang thought that Chazz had finally lost it.

They were getting on the boat when Aster appeared. Aster said "you guys going somewhere?" Hassleberry said "yes solider, we are headed to Domino City to see the Battle City Tournament area and see where all the good duels took place." Aster said "cool, is it ok if I tag along?" Jaden said "no problem. But before we go I need to tell you guys that Alexis and I are going on a date so try not to follow us. I want to make this our first date in the city a good one. So give me a call if you guys get lost in the city, ok?" So Jaden and Alexis left them when the boat docked. Then the group of seven became six when Chazz left to see his Master. The group of six became  four when both Jasmine and Mindy saw the mall and left them to go shopping.

So it was Syrus, Aster, Bastion, and Hasselyberry that were left. Then Aster said "I need to do some business with some people. I will take my leave but the three of you must stay out of trouble okay?"  The three of them decided to hit the city and see the sights. The first sight they went to was where Joey and Yugi dueled because that was the closest one. They saw the sight and thought that it was cool to see where two best friends duked it out in a duel.

Meanwhile Jaden and Alexis went to have some fun and they went to the fanciest restaurant in town. Alexis was impressed by the how fancy the place was. Alexis said "how were you able to get us in here. I mean I saw the line and they just let you in, why?" Jaden said "working for Kaiba has its perks. I mean I can't go anywhere without being recognized as one of the best duelists and a worker for the famous Kaiba." They sat down and ordered some soup and it arrived in a flash. Alexis said "you have been here before, haven't you?" Jaden said "yes, Yugi and I came here almost every day and ate. So, they know to get me what I want and to do it fast. They have seen me eat and they know that I can eat a lot so they make it fast, so that I don't go hungry."

Alexis smiled and ate her soup and was happy that they were alone together and were having a good time. They then paid for the meal. But before they left, the waiter gave Jaden soup to go, so that he would not go hungry throughout the whole day. And so they went to see the city. Jaden said "lets go and see if Yugi is home I would love to introduce him to you if you'd like?" Alexis said "I would love to meet the former King of Games, so what are we waiting for, lead the way." They got to the game shop and saw that Yugi's grandpa was outside, looking at the sky. Jaden walked up to him and said "hi Mr. Moto, how have you been?"  Mr. Moto was startled by Jaden. Mr. Moto said "well hello Jaden, I haven't seen you in a while. What have you been up to?" Jaden said "well I got married. Alexis meet Mr. Moto, Mr. Moto meet my wife, Alexis." Mr. Moto was looking at Alexis and then he said "you chose a good looking girl, Jaden, and I wish nothing but happiness for the both of you."

Bastion then appeared and said to Jaden "Jaden both Syrus and Hassleberry went missing after I went to the bathroom. I lost both of them. Thank God I found you. Who is this old man you are talking to?" Jaden said "this is Yugi Moto's grand father and Yugi learned all of his dueling skills from him." Bastion was shocked and said "my apologies sir, I didn't know who you were." Mr. Moto said "it is quite alright. I understand." Then turning to Jaden he said "so, what are you doing here? I thought you were at the school Kaiba sent you to." Jaden said "We are but we had a field trip to Domino City today." Mr. Moto understood that and decided to go into the shop and invited all of them to come in. Jaden asked "where is Yugi, by the way?" Mr. Moto said "off on anther adventure with his friends. He said he wouldn't be back for a while." Jaden gave Mr. Moto the soup and said "here is a gift from me to you. It is the soup that you like." Mr. Moto was pleased and said "thanks."

Meanwhile both Hassleberry and Syrus were dueling two thugs in a tag duel. They were beaten by Frost but his partner Thunder was also taken down by Frost at the same time. He then took both of the boys to an underground area outside of Domino City. A woman was waiting for Frost to return but the woman was displeased that Frost had not worked as a team with Thunder to defeat both Syrus and Hassleberry and instead even defeated his partner. The woman said to two boys who had appeared out of the dark "take them to Kaiba Land so that the trap can be set for Jaden." The woman then turned to Frost and said "I am disappointed in you, Frost. So, your work here is done." She then imprisoned Frost in a card and sent T-bone and Blaze after Jaden. But the down side was that they had no idea what Jaden looked like or where he was. Both Blaze and T-Bone where walking without direction when they stumbled upon a guy wearing a Slifer Blazer.

Jaden, being Jaden, talked to them and being the kind person that he was,  they both started to like Jaden. They asked if he was from Duel Academy and he answered yes. So Jaden offered to duel one of them and T-Bone decided to duel him. T-Bone asked what his name was and Jaden said, Jaden. Both Blaze and T-Bone were shocked that they had found their target. So T-Bone gave it his all but lost the duel, but before he disappeared, he told Jaden that his friends were at Kaiba Land and that he needed to bring Aster with him. With that, T-Bone disappeared. Jaden was angry but Alexis was able to calm him down. At that moment Aster appeared and Jaden told him about what had happened and then Bastion appeared and was looking for the boys. All four of them raced to Kaiba Land not knowing that they were being watched by both Chazz and Sartorius. Sartorius said to Chazz "if my cards are correct, one will leave that city alive and the other will be trapped forever. If I am correct, which I am never wrong, Jaden will not leave here ever and Alexis will be all yours."
