Ch 15 Fighting for Love

Jaden began to prepare to duel Alexis but he needed to rest so he decided to sleep on it. Jaden was awakened by Sartorius who had taken on a normal appearance, not diabolical like he appeared before. He was showing his good side. Sartorius said "Jaden I need your help." Jaden said "what do you need me to do." Sartorius said "I need you to take this key and keep it away from me. I need you and Aster to keep the two keys away from me so that I don't use the satellite to destroy this world." Jaden said "ok, I will keep them away from you but I need to know what it is that is controlling you?" Sartorius didn't answer, then left keeping Jaden questioning what was going to happen.

Jaden awoke the next day and was in the hallway talking to Chazz,Atticus, Hassleberry, and Syrus about what had happened the night before. They then saw Alexis walking their way. Jaden had hoped that she was her old self. Alexis said "hey there, I have been looking all over for you." Jaden said "you've been looking for me, why?" Alexis said "I came to get the key back. Is that going to be a problem?" Jaden said "Sartorius gave it to me and I will protect it with my life." Alexis said "then let's have a duel. If I win, you hand over the key and if you win I will leave you alone."

Jaden said "ok." Alexis said "the smartest move you've made all year." She walked into the main arena, leaving the boys to talk to Jaden about dueling Alexis. Jaden said it was ok, he needed to do this to get her back. Chazz and Atticus gave Jaden a card that would help break the hold that the Light had on Alexis. Jaden entered the arena and faced his wife. But before they started, Jaden said "Alexis, please remember all the good times we had together like being in Domino City or our wedding night. Please Alexis, I don't want to lose you."

Alexis didn't show any signs that she cared about Jaden. They both started their duel disks and said "duel." Alexis said "my turn, I draw. I summon Snow Fairy in attack mode (1100atk). While this card is face up on the field you can't activate spell cards from your hand. I play one card face down and end my turn." Jaden said "my turn, I draw. I summon Ojama Black in defense mode (1000def). I play one card face down and end my turn."

Alexis said "my turn, I draw. I play White Night Fort. Now neither of us can activate trap cards during our opponents' turn. Next, I summon Illusion Ice Sculpture and due to its third effect you have to target this monster first for an attack before attacking any other monsters. Now that I have summoned Ice Sculpture's first effect. It gains attack points equal to one monster on my field. So Snow Fairy attack and destroy Ojama Black. Now Illusion Ice Sculpture attack Jaden directly. With that I will end my turn,"

Jaden said "my turn, I draw. I summon Elemental Hero Sparkman in attack (1600atk). Next I will attack your Illusion Ice Sculpture. I will throw down a face down and end my turn." Alexis said "my turn, I draw. I play Icicle Sacrifice to special summon an Icicle Token. Now I sacrifice my Icicle Token to summon White Night Queen. Now I will use my Queen's ability to destroy one of your face downs. Next I will attack your Sparkman. Now that he is gone, you are wide open. Now, Snow Fairy attack him directly."

Jaden said "my turn, I draw. I summon Card Trooper in attack mode (400atk). Now I send the top 3 cards from my deck to the grave and my monster gains 500 points for each card sent to the graveyard. Now I attack your Snow Fairy. Now I play Pot of Greed to draw two cards. Next I activate O - Oversoul to summon Sparkman in defense mode (1400def). Now I equip my Sparkman with Spark Blaster. Now I can switch any monster with the blaster and I choose my Card Trooper. With that I will end my turn."

Alexis said "my turn, I draw. I play Call of the Haunted to revive Snow Fairy in attack mode. Now I use my Queen's effect to destroy your face down. Now I attack your Sparkman with my Queen and now I have my Snow Fairy to destroy your Card Trooper." Jaden said "due to the destruction of Card Trooper I get to draw one card." Alexis ended her turn. Jaden said "my turn, I draw. I summon Dandylion in defense mode(300)."

Alexis said "my turn, I draw. I summon Cold Sleeper in attack mode (1100atk). Now I attack your Dandylion." Now that Dandylion was destroyed Jaden gained two Fluff Tokens. Alexis then destroyed the two tokens and ended her turn. Jaden said "my turn, I draw. I can now summon Elemental Hero Neos due to Necroshade being in the graveyard. Now I will attack your Snow Fairy with Neos. Now I play the Quick Summon to summon Card Blocker in defense mode." Jaden ended his turn but due to the effect of Cold Sleeper, Snow Fairy was revived. Alexis said "my turn, I draw. I sacrifice my Cold Sleeper and White Night Queen to summon White Night Dragon in attack mode (3000atk). I now activate White Blizzard. Now if I destroy a monster you take 600 points of damage. Now I play White Veil to equip it to White Night Dragon. Now if White Night Dragon attacks, all of Jaden's Spell and Trap Cards will be destroyed and their effects will be negated. Now, White Night Dragon attack Neos."

Jaden said "I use the effect of Card Blocker so now he is the new target of your attack." Jaden watched as his monster was destroyed and he took 600 points of damage. Alexis played one card face down and ended her turn. Jaden said "my turn, I draw. I remove Ojama Black and Swing of Memories from my grave to special summon Spell Striker in attack mode (600atk).Now I summon Armor Breaker in attack mode (800atk). I now equip my Armor Breaker to Spell Striker. Now I can attack you directly. Now that Spell Striker has inflicted battle damage, I can destroy your White Veil."

Jaden then switched Neos in defense mode and ended his turn. Alexis said "do you know what you have done, you just did an unforgivable thing by destroying White Veil. My turn, I draw. I play Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy Armor Breaker. Next, I attack your Spell Striker." Jaden said "I take no damage due to Spell Striker's destruction." Jaden lost 600 life points due to White Blizzard.

Jaden said "my turn, I draw. I summon Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab in attack mode (500atk). Now I use Contact Fusion to fuse Neos and Flare Scarab in order to summon Elemental Hero Flare Neos in attack mode (2500atk). Due to the effect of Flare Neos he gains 400 attack points for each spell and trap on the field. Now Flare Neos attack and destroy White Night Dragon."

With that the duel was over and Jaden had won. Jaden and the rest of the gang walked over to Alexis who was on the ground asleep. Jaden said "Alexis are you ok?" Alexis said "yea, I am ok. I just remember losing to Chazz and that is all. Chazz can you come here for a second." Chazz walked up to Alexis not knowing what she was going to do. Then Alexis clenched her fist and punched Chazz square in the face. Chazz was knocked out. Syrus said "you got knocked the F*** out."

They all laughed at this and Alexis asked the one question that Jaden could answer. Alexis said " where is my wedding ring?" Jaden took her ring off the chain that he had around his neck. He gave it to Alexis and they kissed, Jaden was happy that she was back to normal. Jaden said "now we need to deal with Sartorius. I will have Chazz deal with the minions of the Light and I will go after Sartorius."
